This vacuum cleaner looks like it came from the future to save you from dust

Protecting your house from harmful microorganisms and viruses isn’t just a matter of installing air purifiers and UV sanitizers in rooms. Keeping areas clean is also an important part of that process, especially when it comes to dirt that’s hard to see or materials that would emit harmful substances. Vacuum cleaners are, of course, one of the most common weapons in the war against dirt and grime, whether they be on floors, in corners, or in other places we can’t reach easily. The design of vacuum cleaners has shifted every now and then, sometimes embracing trends like minimalism. This design concept, however, goes in a different direction and heaps a ton of details on the vacuum cleaner, creating an appliance that wouldn’t look out of place in the robot-filled home of the future.

There was a time when the design of vacuum cleaners, at least the big ones that stand vertically, was pretty much standard. Its shape with a wide flat head and a bulky bag hanging from its body has become so iconic that it’s easy to identify it when it shows up on TV or in movies. Of course, design never really stands still, and soon vacuum cleaners have also changed their forms over time. Another common design involves just a hose attached to a boxy machine on wheels. More modern styles just have a long stick attached to a large canister that you can hold like a gun.

This vertical vacuum cleaner concept seems to combine the old and the new in a design with a more futuristic flavor. You almost have the same silhouette as a traditional vacuum cleaner, with that wide head and a rather bulky middle body. Its modular and configurable parts, however, are modern touches, especially when it comes to the sleek and smooth surfaces that embody this appliance.

Parts of the vacuum cleaner are specifically designed to give it a more futuristic or sci-fi vibe. The head, for example, looks almost like the front of a spacecraft, especially with its three bright LED lights that might be of help when vacuuming darker areas under furniture. The transparent area of the actual vacuum machine and the white and black motif are also typical of many sci-fi props.

It’s also futuristic in terms of intended functionality, like how the main body detaches to become a handheld vacuum. You could almost say that this is a handheld vacuum cleaner with a vertical vacuum dock instead. Additionally, its rod can be folded back for more compact storage. Given the size of its body parts, it’s not exactly impossible to turn this into a robot vacuum cleaner, merrily going about its way to clean your floors and then quietly folding itself into an alcove after it finishes its chores.

This mini vacuum cleaner cleans while hiding in plain sight!

This mini vacuum was built with style and function equally in mind. At first glance, it could be mistaken for an off-brand hydro-flask or a portable speaker. This ambiguity works as a visual advantage. Car passengers and desk mates will wonder how you keep these spaces so clean (not realizing that your secret weapon may be hiding in plain sight). They might even compliment your new olive-green accessory.
The vacuum’s slender, cylinder design allows for easy storage in your car or desk drawer… and these are the exact areas that the product was designed to clean. It comes with two attachments: a narrow nozzle that can reach debris in tight corners and a slightly wider one rimmed with soft bristles that can suction dust from inside an air vent or in-between your laptop’s keys. Basically, it cleans the spaces that other handhelds can’t reach. Also, the vacuum comes with a removable cap to keep the debris from escaping the canister… so you won’t have to worry about cleaning messes a second time.

Ex-Samsung Engineers design a 1.2lbs handheld vacuum that equals your Dyson in power!

As a grown-up, do you get excited about vacuum cleaners or are you not normal? From someone who did it as a chore, as I have gotten older vacuuming has been giving me that certain joy you experience when you watch satisfying visual ASMR-like videos. The things on top of my wishlist have quickly changed from sneakers to $400 vacuums and now that I’ve discovered the Montanc, I am glad I can have both!

Montanc was designed by ex-Samsung engineers to give you exactly what you need in a handheld vacuum without burning a hole in your pocket – powerful suction, lightweight, compact, durable, and never misses a spot! Usually, handheld vacuums are considered a short-term investment. They don’t have good suction, can fall apart easily, and are just an added cleaning measure after you use the large vacuum because they can’t get inside crevices. The engineers addressed the two major pain points from the consumer market research – upright vacuums are bulky and handheld vacuums are flimsy.

This product was created to change how we perceive handheld vacuums all together with its clever engineering and attentive design that makes cleaning effortless. The strongest handheld vacuum on the market has a suction power of 12,000 PA while Montanc gives you 15,000 PA which is equivalent to a Dyson vacuum! Weighing only 1.18 lbs (525 g), this appliance has been made for everyday use which accounts for wear and tear. It is also easy to empty the dirt from the vacuum, it contains a double safety mechanism that twists the gadget as you press the button and lets you empty/wash the reusable canister. This prevents unexpected disassemble of dirt from the sack. But unlike its competition, Montanc’s weight doesn’t justify its strength and durability. Combined with a set of versatile nozzles, you can clean every crack, corner and crevice.

It has two power modes: Mode I and Mode II. The first one has the suction power of 6,000 PA and picks up your typical-sized particles and debris in a blink of an eye. The second one picks up microparticles that can’t be seen by the naked eye as well as larger chunks of debris with the suction power of 15,000 PA. Mode I can be used for 30 mins and Mode II can be used for 9 mins after one charging cycle. You can switch between the modes by pressing one button and it clears up everything from pollen to your girlfriend’s hair – no really, the fade-free suction sucks the hair in one second!

“Such power is only possible because of our Brushless Direct Current ++ motors (BLDC++ in short). This 120w motor clocks in at 76,000rpm which allows Montanc to produce 15kPa while staying insanely compact” says the team of engineers on the technology that makes Montanc stand out from the rest of its peers. Its good to be used on carpets too along with being car-friendly. Lastly, its minimal and elegant design means it doesn’t have to be stashed away in a closet and you can keep it outside too – it can be used right when the cookie crumbles! Powerful vacuums are heavy. Smaller vacuums are weak. But if you want the best of both worlds, this vacuum is your Hannah Montanc-na.

This sucks in the best way…

The Jet is what you get when you give a common household appliance a little bit of hawg-motorcycle style. The chromed-out design captures the spirit of the Harley Davidson brand with shapes, curves and exhaust elements taken directly from the line of cruisers. Even the handle is leather-clad like a replica of the Harley’s iconic saddle. Just one problem… it’s as loud as it is powerful… just like Harley Davidson likes it!

Dyson’s engineers head off to the races, create dragsters using spare parts, DC-16 motors (video)

Dyson engineers certainly know a thing or two about creating innovative vacuums and fans Air Multipliers, but did you know they've also dabbled in the world of high-speed racing? Such is apparently now the case, as these folks were tasked with building go-kart drag racers out of spare parts, resulting in a variety of wheeled wonders viaing for the fastest run on a makeshift strip in the office. Of course, there was a catch -- all of the dragsters had to use the motor from Dyson's DC-16 handheld vacuum in a battle for maximum torque. We won't spoil the outcomes for you, so scroll down to catch a video mashup of all the hijinks in the video below.
