“The only travel bag you’ll ever need” features a modular design that magically splits into 3 different bags

You’ve got a laptop bag, an overnight bag, a travel bag, a duffle bag, a gym bag, a separate bag for your shoes, your clothes, your tech, your camera, your drone, your toiletries. A different bag for every different purpose. Now I don’t mean to turn this into some George Carlin-style comedy bit, so I’ll get right to the chase. Think of each separate bag as a physical book. You could either own ten different books that fill up your entire bookshelf… or just buy an e-book reader that holds hundreds of books in its slim, versatile design. The Onli Travel Revolution is the e-book of backpacks.

Rather aptly called the Onli because it’s quite practically the only bag you’ll ever really need, this clever little number first debuted in 2019. Created by father-son-duo Dave and Kyle Logan, the Onli made quite the splash when it debuted, but its true success was weathering the pandemic when global travel (and the basic need to have backpacks/travel cases) came to a grinding halt. Not only did the Logans manage to clear their inventory even in the midst of a raging pandemic and supply chain toss-up, the Logans even managed to develop and prototype the Onli 2.0. Now in its second avatar (as a successor to the original Onli Venture), the Onli Travel Revolution Rolling Pack doubles down on the vision of the ”modular travel revolution”, with a uniquely creative 3-in-1 design that basically gives you a backpack for every single situation.

At its heart, the Onli Travel Revolution is a 3-bag system that’s designed to be infinitely modular yet independently versatile. Here’s what I mean – let’s skip that e-book analogy from earlier and think of the Onli Travel Revolution as a S’more. Made from a piece of chocolate, a marshmallow, and a graham cracker, the S’more tastes great on its own, but separate its ingredients and they’re all tasty individually too, or even when had in pairs of whatever combination you want. The Onli Travel Revolution champions that very logic with its 3-bag system, comprising a slim messenger tote bag, an expandable daypack, and an expandable spinner bag. The three separate bags cover a whole range of scenarios, proving to be incredibly handy when used independently. However, zip them together and they merge into a ‘superbag’ of sorts, giving you all the benefits of multiple bags, in one single backpack that can then either be carried on your shoulders, or rolled across a walkway on its 4 spinner wheels.

The ‘meat’ of the Onli Travel Revolution is its expandable spinner, the largest of the bags. Equipped with four 360° rotating wheels and a telescopic handle, the expandable spinner is the perfect size to travel on flights with. It’s ideally sized to go right into the cabin with you, has a tapered design that slides under most airline seats, boasts an expandable design that lets you store more if you choose to, and has all the compartments, pockets, and zips needed to organize your belongings. It also has zippers on its front and back that let you attach the other two bags on each side for added convenience.

The remaining two bags also have their unique capabilities based on your needs. The front messenger tote bag is a slick little number, designed to store essential tech or your everyday belongings. It’s designed to be large enough to fit a 17-inch laptop should you choose, and comes with a handle for quick grabbing, a high quality “seatbelt webbing” singular strap for tote or crossbody-style wearing, which morphs into two shoulder straps in case you want to wear it as a conventional backpack. If you choose to use it independently, it has its own fold-out bottle holder, and even comes with RFID-blocking pockets and lockable zips. Moreover, it can attach to the back of any flight seat and has its own built-in ‘shelf’ that zips open and acts as a makeshift laptop table while you’re on your flight or on a bus. Don’t want to use it as a separate entity? Well, it zips right onto the aforementioned spinner bag, or even onto the rear expandable daypack.

The 8-piece Packing Cube Set

The expandable daypack is kind of like your laptop bag, but by virtue of its versatile, modular design, it’s just volumes better than any laptop bag you’ll probably own. Just like the tote, the expandable daypack stores a 17-inch laptop, along with a whole slew of other items. It opens flat like a suitcase (making it TSA friendly), allowing you to pack items in it like one, and even extract belongings without fishing around and making a mess of your belongings. The expandable design lets your daypack virtually triple in internal volume, becoming a “weekender bag” if you so desire, and both the expandable daypack, and the spinner bag are designed to accommodate Onli’s 8-piece packing cube set, giving you the power to segregate all your belongings right within one bag so you don’t have to carry 10 different bags for your 10 different scenarios. For all intents and purposes, your laptop, camera, chargers, toiletries, and undergarments can all sit within one bag in their own individually segregated compartments… should you choose.

The 3-in-1 Onli Travel Revolution can be used as a singular superbag, as three individual bags, or in any 2+1 format. The bags unite together when you’re looking for a single cohesive solution, but if at any point of time you just need one of those bags and not the whole nine yards, just detach the bag you need and you’ve got yourself convenience without the bulk. Cleverly enough, the modular design also makes it easier to stash the entire Onli Travel Revolution in a plane’s overhead compartment. Just split the Onli into its three separate elements and they’re now easier to store than one large bulky bag.

The Onli Travel Revolution isn’t just cleverly designed… Now in its second iteration, it’s well made too. The entire backpack is crafted from a durable, water and dust-resistant fabric, and comes with top-of-the-line YKK zippers that also happen to be lockable for the main compartments on your bags. The bags are purpose-built, yet versatile, modular yet individually useful, and have a unique way of fulfilling every need for every scenario, be it for casual holidaying, business travel, trekking, city commute, a trip to the gym, the field, or even the next city. This isn’t Onli’s first rodeo, and the company’s worked considerably hard to deliver every single one of its 2019-edition Onli Travel Venture bags to their backers, even despite the pandemic. During that time, the Logans even managed to refine their design and build out the Onli Travel Revolution Rolling Pack prototype, launching it just in time as the world begins to open up and international travel starts ramping up to pre-pandemic days. The Onli Travel Revolution now comes in 6 different colors and starts at $79 on Kickstarter for just the slim messenger tote or daypack (if you just want the one), $139 for just the expandable spinner, or $269 if you want the entire modular travel kit.

This modern suitcase comes with a detachable compartment for easy access while travelling!

You know how people browse apartments when they are bored? The large suitcase has a unique feature, its bold-colored removable compartment for items you would like to access and find easily. Maziti is a useful addition to your traveling essentials and solves the big inconvenience of having to open up a whole tightly packed suitcase to find individual items like a passport, sunglasses, or headphones buried deep in a pile of clothes that we all know will not go back the same way once it is open. It also features a sleek branded strap to keep it together and features a lockable compartment to keep the contents secure.

The bright pop of color of the detachable compartment gives the suitcase its own distinct and playful personality. Maziti’s design is equal parts cool and functional making it the perfect luggage to tag along on your next adventure!

This ‘chameleon’ backpack with modular fascia can ‘shapeshift’ to suit your various needs

If Arya Stark were a backpack, she would probably be the What Pack. Obscure reference? Sure, but it drives home the point I’m trying to make. The What Pack isn’t one backpack… It’s multiple bag-styles built around a backpack’s framework. Featuring a modular setup that lets you replace the backpack’s face to change its visual appeal as well as its function, the What Pack is quite literally the ‘Bag with Many Faces’.

While the swappable face system is What Pack’s most standout feature, it sits on a very reliable base that’s designed to accommodate all your belongings perfectly. The base is a spacious 14L compartment, built to stash all your belongings securely and in dedicated spaces on both the inside and outside. A padded neoprene sleeve fits laptops as large as 16 inches, while additional pockets and pouches let you carry notebooks, A4 folders, tablets, stationery, and other small belongings. Pockets on the outside let you carry items like bottles and umbrellas, while discretely positioned pouches on the base and back let you secure more high-value belongings like cash and cards. The large inner compartment is perfect for everything from clothes to gear, and extension straps help hold all your stuff in place while compressing them to save up on storage space. The base interfaces with the swappable lids using a clamshell opening (which also makes it easy to access your bag’s belongings without having to rummage around) that lets you zip out one lid for another. What Pack’s Monochrome Series features four lid styles that alternate between four different scenarios – Casual, Work, Active, and Travel, covering practically all the bases, and giving you one backpack that carefully considers all your needs.

The four different faces solve their individual purposes with sheer attention to detail. While the Casual face gives your backpack a discreet, no-nonsense appearance, the Work face allows you to carry more, with separate compartments for your work essentials. The Active face is much more suited for trips to the gym, featuring a mesh pouch on the outside for airing out your gym clothes or shoes, while the Travel face gives your backpack an extra 3 liters of storage, bringing the total up to 17L. The swappable faces are also complemented by a swappable strap system, allowing you to choose between minimal Chic Shoulder Straps, or Utility Shoulder Straps with loops to secure your EDC or hang items. The bag even comes with built-in handles on the top, side, and even the bottom, allowing you to carry it any way you see fit, along with a convertible luggage sleeve that lets you strap the What Pack to your travel case while you’re dashing through the airport.

While the versatility feature is built right into the bag’s design-brief, its durable construction helps it be the versatile backpack you need for everything between work, play, and travel (whether it’s to the outdoors or via flight/transit). The body of the What Pack is made from water-resistant 900D Polyester PU, with an X-Pac VX21 base for added durability and wear-resistance. Water-resistant SBS zippers keep your belongings protected from the elements, and Duraflex hardware ensures your bag’s parts last much longer than the ones found on traditional backpacks. Plus, if you want to know more about how your bag’s built, its details, materials, care-instructions, or updates from the baker, a serialized NFC-chip built into the bag’s top lets you easily tap to access additional information about the What Pack on your NFC-ready smartphone. It also serves as a virtual authenticity-certificate, letting you know that the What-Pack you own is unique and original… even though it has multiple faces and identities!

The Perfectly Calibrated Business-trip Bag

The average business trip lasts not more than 36 hours. That rather important insight is what makes the Lundi travel bag the perfect choice for businessmen and businesswomen who take regular work excursions.

While most bags attempt at multitasking by being work-bags, travel-bags, weekend-bags, gym-bags, etc., dappling with modularity and adaptability, the Lundi travel bag isn’t a jack of all trades, but rather, a master of one domain. Creating a new category of bags designed with not activities in mind, but rather hours spent pursuing them, the Lundi is the world’s first 36-hour Travel Bag, built specifically for being the best partner for your short business trip.

The Lundi travel bag doesn’t multitask or juggle different avatars because it doesn’t need to. Firm in its resolve to provide the perfect storage for your business trip, the Lundi is one of those products that challenge the notion that a product that multitasks is a “better product”. On the outside, its leather design is classic, professional, and unisex; working wonderfully for businessmen and businesswomen on the go. On the inside, it is compartmentalized to perfection, giving you one dedicated space for office and work related items (both electronic and otherwise), and another for clothes/toiletries/travel-documents… all perfectly calibrated for 2 days and 1 night of occupational travel.

As a notion, the concept of a bag designed around a time-frame seems like the most suitable way to go. In a sense, the bag’s description is its design brief: “A bag designed for the 36-hour business trip”… and it completely does justice to it. Because let’s not forget, in the business world, Time is Money!

The Lundi Travel Bag is available in two timeless leather variants. The Embossed leather bag lives long and stays strong, while the Vegetable-tanned leather embodies high-couture in profession. The Lundi travel bag is available on Kickstarter till the 9th of April (23:00 PST), so grab yourself the best business-trip bag, pronto!

Make Your Wardrobe Portable with a Rolo Travel Bag

Rolo Travel Bag 01

One of the most complicated aspects of traveling is trying to organize all of the clothes you’ll need so that they take up as little space as possible. The Rolo travel bag solves that problem while still being stylish.

This travel bag started its journey on Kickstarter back in November 2013, where its creators, Benjamin Taller and Cheryl Mascari, managed to raise about $7,000 more than the funding goal. Ben and Cheryl came up with the idea of designing the Rolo travel bag while backpacking through Europe. Rolo organizes the clothes you might need while trekking in a manner that doesn’t require you to unpack. As though that wasn’t enough, the clear mesh sections (two large & two small) enable you to know at all times where everything is, so that you can remove it and use it without any hassle.

Rolo comes with a hanging hook that definitely makes it look like some kind of a Dopp kit. The similarity goes even further, as the Rolo back provides quick access to all of the items stored in it right after you unroll it. And now you also know where the name came from.

Let’s be honest, placing clothes in any other type of bag that’s still suitable for traveling or backpacking would have you digging for the right socks or shirts endlessly, but Rolo does away with that problem.

There are more benefits to the design than just making all of the clothes accessible. By keeping the clothing flat, Rolo manages to maximize storage space, not to mention that at the same time it minimizes wrinkled garments. You might not care that much about wrinkles if you’re backpacking, but if you’re just traveling, then it’s an entirely different story. Either way, the Rolo travel bag should be more than enough for storing two days worth of clothes.

Portability is yet another aspect that’s tackled gracefully by the Rolo travel bag. There are multiple options of carrying it around, and it all depends on what you’re planning to use it for. If you’re backpacking, then feel free to attach it to your backpack using the included hook. On the other hand, if you’re simply traveling, then you can always use it as a shoulder bag. The creators of this travel bag have really taken all things into consideration when designing it

Check out the following video to get a better idea of how the Rolo travel bag looks and works in real-life scenarios.
