Portable crib with travel wheels and a foldable design can be stowed away or moved on command

Babies have perhaps the largest footprint of any human combined. They get a bed that’s much larger than their proportions, have their own gizmos for the dining table, the car, and the outdoors, and let’s not dive into the sheer number of diapers they go through in a month. The point I’m trying to get to is that babies, by virtue of their accessories, can occupy tonnes of space… although the Bababing Bedside & Travel Crib wants that to change. Built with a unique foldable design that shuts flat (so you can store it in wardrobes, behind headboards, or underneath beds, the Bababing Bedside & Travel Crib is an award-winning crib that’s designed for comfort but also for compactness. Aside from folding shut, the crib comes with 360° caster wheels that allow you to move it around (in both closed or open formats) and lock them in place when you don’t want your crib shifting. This makes moving the crib from one room to another rather easy, making it easier for parents to manage a grumpy baby at night.

Designer: Ashley Robinson (Bababing UK)

The Bababing Bedside & Travel Crib’s super-quick foldable/collapsible feature is a ‘market first’, the company says. It folds down to a slim profile that can be wheeled around and stored easily as well as stashed in the back of a car for taking with you on holidays and trips. The folding mechanism actuates with a simple click, requiring no dismantling whatsoever. The crib comes with a luxury soft and breathable inner lining (Kose CoolTM) that provides babies with utmost comfort regardless of the weather, and right underneath the bed is a dedicated storage space for keeping the baby’s belongings and accouterments.

The Bababing Bedside & Travel Crib comes with all the safety tests in accordance with baby crib standards. Other core features include fully lockable wheels for safety, netted sides to improve airflow and breathability, and visual details like wooden trims, high-quality fabrics, and machine-washable materials.

The Bababing Bedside & Travel Crib is a winner of the Red Dot Design Concept Award for the year 2022.

A Bentley 6 in 1 limited-edition stroller that grows with your child!

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this Bentley stroller trike is “Woah! This baby is going to have some serious swag!” and unlike other strollers that have a short life span, this one transforms into a pedal-powered bike so the baby can continue having some serious swag. The Bentley stroller trike is an innovative 6-1 model that was created in collaboration with Posh Baby and Kids.

This limited-edition bike is from the Bentley centennial collection and there are only 570 units. Just like the Continental GT, the bike has twin-spoke rims and cross-stitched seats. It also has eco-leather touchpoints complemented with matte black details and gold stitching. What makes this bike special is that it grows with your child when they outgrow the stroller it turns into a wonderful bike to get some fun exercise with! Keeping in mind how fast babies can grow, the bike can seamlessly accommodate them from eight months to four years, while encouraging balance and safety with a five-point harness, safety guard, non-slip pedals and footrest, and even a parent control handle.

I am just imagining a toddler roll out in slow motion on the streets in one of these bikes and put on the baby sunglasses while pedaling away. What a sight!

Mini-boo for the mini you!

mini_boo_stroller_1

Mini-Boo, such a cute name for a stroller! Designed using British style and sensibilities, the Mini-Boo is a baby stroller that doubles up into a baby seat for the car. The lower frame can then be stored in any car trunk. The stroller does more than just be a mobile shelter for the child. It also has audio-video integration that allows the mum to keep tabs on her little one even while she’s driving. Perfect for the over-protective, independent mommy!

Check Out the Manliest Baby Stroller of All Time

Manly Baby Stroller

According to a survey conducted by Czech automobile maker Skoda, a lot of dads admitted they were “embarrassed” to push regular strollers around. In case you’re wondering, “a lot” here means a third of the 1,000 of the dads who were surveyed. Strollers understandably come with few, if any, added features because they’re often unnecessary, and they often look plain because they’re baby strollers and not cars, for crying out loud!

That didn’t stop Skoda from building the VRS Mega Man-Pram, which looks like the most bad-ass baby stroller that was ever made! What they did was automobilify the basic stroller to turn it into something that can probably flatten another stroller that dared bump into it. (And yes, I am aware that automobilify isn’t a word.)

The VRS Man-Pram was deemed as “fit for a king” and features 20-inch wheels that are surrounded by all-terrain rubber. Aside from that, it’s also equipped with a bunch of car-like features, like a wing mirrors, over-sized brake calipers, hydraulic suspension, brake lights and even a headlamp that might come in especially useful for night walks.

The bad news? It’s not for sale. The good news? You can make one yourself and use this as an inspiration, if you really want to.
