The latest addition, the Ostand Spin, is a game-changer. It enhances stand stability and introduces unique spin rotation technology, giving you more ways to use your device, like standing it at a 90-degree angle for easy recording. This case features a 360-degree rotating stand, allowing for complete rotational freedom. This design makes it easy to switch between vertical and horizontal viewing angles, perfect for video calls, watching shows, or filming vlogs. The stand has been rigorously tested to withstand over 30,000 open and close cycles, ensuring long-term durability.

The integrated ring serves multiple purposes: it acts as a kickstand, ring holder, and charging support. This ring provides a secure grip, making it easier to carry or use your device one-handed. The kickstand’s zinc alloy construction supports efficient wireless charging, so removing the case to charge your device is unnecessary. This versatility is ideal for scrolling through videos or taking selfies with ease.

Using advanced Halbach technology, the Ostand 360° Spin offers a magnetic force of 18N, significantly stronger than standard cases. This strong magnetic attraction allows you to securely attach your device to various metal surfaces and supports all MagSafe accessories, ensuring stable and efficient charging.

The case provides military-grade drop protection, capable of withstanding drops from up to 12 feet. The full-body airbag design, with 12 embedded airbags and raised edges around the screen and camera, offers comprehensive protection against shocks and impacts. The raised lens edges, measuring 2mm, protect the camera from scratches and impacts, ensuring your device remains safe from accidental drops and bumps. Despite its strong protective capabilities, the Ostand 360° Spin maintains a slim and stylish profile. The frosted, textured finish adds a touch of elegance while ensuring durability. The four-zone spring-loaded mechanical axis provides a satisfying clicky sound reminiscent of a fidget toy, enhancing functionality and user experience.

The Ostand 360° Spin excels in various practical scenarios. The ring holder is handy for a better grip, especially when you’re walking or lying down in bed. The stand can adjust to a 90-degree angle for on-the-go videographers, accommodating different shooting angles. When filming vlogs or capturing moments on the go, the device can stick to any metal surface, such as lampposts or street-side trash cans, allowing for hands-free use. This feature is especially beneficial for vloggers and content creators who need to document their activities spontaneously and effortlessly without carrying around a tripod.

The TORRAS Ostand 360° Spin case combines protection, practicality, and style in one innovative package. Its versatile features, such as the 360-degree rotating stand, multifunctional ring, strong magnetic power, and military-grade protection, make it a top choice for anyone looking to enhance their device experience. Whether you need a reliable stand, a secure grip, or robust protection, the Ostand 360° Spin delivers on all fronts, ensuring your device stays safe and stylish. This case is an excellent investment for those who want to maximize their device’s functionality in every aspect of daily life.

This Mexican Lake House Beautifully Accommodates Pre-Existing Trees Without Disturbing The Environment

Called the Casa Santa Maria del Oro, this picturesque lakeside home in Mexico’s Nayarit state was designed by the Mexican studio MCxA Group. The home is perched on a steep slope, which gently makes its way to the water. The home features circular holes that function as light wells, a courtyard, and spaces for trees. The home is slightly embedded within the earth, and topped by a lovely green roof.

Designer: MCxA Group

“The volume of the house is completely hidden, lost in the slope of the land and leaving only the terraces visible, which coexist with native trees and open to the lake,” said architects MCxA. The home is surrounded by five old trees, and they weren’t disturbed. Curves and holes were created in the floors and ceiling plates to ensure the trees weren’t bothered.

“Circular shapes are subtracted from the volume to honor their presence, allowing these giants to intertwine with the dwelling,” said design team leaders Mauricio Ceballos and Francisco Vázquez. This unique design style was adopted to pay tribute to the natural environment as well as the local community. Construction was conducted in such a way, that it harmonizes with nature, without causing harm to it.

The home occupies 350 square meters, and it contains three levels as well as three bedrooms. All the rooms are concealed from the view on account of the green roof, which also serves as a unique component of the home. You can access it from the upper level through a pathway of cylindrical pillars which create a 20-meter staircase. The staircase is “intricately designed to blend with the site, divert rainwater through the permeability generated by the spacing of the pieces, and serve as a sculptural statement with prefabricated cylindrical concrete steps,” as mentioned by the architects. These volumes feature curved glazed portions which offer lovely views of the trees.

Most of the living spaces are located in the middle story. This floor includes the bedrooms and bathrooms, which are located on both sides of the open-plan lounge and dining area. The home features concrete flooring and earth-toned decor. This decor includes volcanic stone and recycled wooden elements which are further accentuated by dark steel columns and window trims.

iOS 18 Beta 3: What’s New for Developers in the Latest Update

It’s Mobile Monday, and we’re delighted to see that Apple has embraced the occasion by releasing iOS 18 Beta 3 today. This latest beta version brings a range of updates and refinements, moving closer to the official launch of iOS 18. With a focus on enhancing user experience, streamlining interfaces, and adding new features, this update highlights Apple’s ongoing commitment to improving its operating system based on feedback from developers and users.

Designer: Apple

One of the significant updates in iOS 18 Beta 3 is the introduction of Dark Mode icons for several third-party apps, including Facebook, Etsy, Telegram, Signal, Slack, Notion, and YouTube. These icons now automatically adjust to Dark Mode, with secondary colors becoming the main color and backgrounds turning black. More complex app icons are tinted darker, while developers have the option to provide their own dark-tinted icons for better customization.

The Photos app has received a usability enhancement by adding a Select button for a more accessible selection of multiple images, eliminating the need to swipe down. The Search button has also been updated to a blue-highlighted magnifying glass, improving visibility and ease of use.

Messages have undergone significant changes, particularly in its emoji and sticker interface. The new design combines emoji, Memoji, and stickers into a single interface, navigable through small icons at the bottom of the display. Users can create and use stickers directly in messages, with non-moving stickers displayed similarly to emojis. Emojis are now shown larger, providing more detail but requiring more scrolling to see additional characters. These enhancements pave the way for the introduction of Apple Intelligence, including features like Genmoji and Image Playground.

Apple has also added a dynamic wallpaper option that transitions through different colors based on the time of day, making iOS 18 visually engaging. The flashlight interface has been refined, offering a more extensive and intuitive control for adjusting brightness and LED flash spread when activated from the Dynamic Island.

The Maps app continues to receive tweaks, particularly its icon colors, when Dark Mode is enabled, ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience. Additionally, the interface for RCS in the Messages settings has been updated to a tap-in menu that provides more context, such as the use of wireless data and the sharing of cellular network identifiers with carriers.

Hints of Apple Intelligence are becoming more apparent, with code references to features like Genmoji, Image Playground, Writing Tools, and Image Wand. These forthcoming AI enhancements are expected to significantly augment the capabilities of iOS 18, offering users a smarter, more responsive experience.

iOS 18 beta 3 is a clear sign that Apple is committed to making its operating system better and more user-friendly with every update. This release shows how Apple listens to feedback and continues to refine features, fix bugs, and add new capabilities to ensure users have a smooth and enjoyable experience with each new version.

Blizzard shows off Overwatch 2 Transformers skins in animated trailer

Blizzard and Hasbro have revealed the Transformers skins for Overwatch 2’s upcoming collaboration with the popular mecha toy franchise. The two companies released an animated trailer on the Overwatch YouTube channel today, showing off the skins based on three Autobots and a Decepticon.

The trailer shows that the Transformers skins are assigned to Reinhardt, Bastion, Illari and Ramratta — four characters that were already robots or humans wearing armor to begin with. Reinhardt will be cosplaying Optimus Prime, the fearless leader of the Autobots; Bastion will be Bumblebee; Illari will be pretty in pink as Arcee; and Ramratta will be the fearsome Decepticon leader, Megatron. Many Overwatch 2 players are anticipating how well the Transformers skins will fit with the game’s aim-and-click, collection, and respawn mechanics in actual gameplay.

The Transformers crossover comes on the heels of the game’s collaboration with Porsche back in May, which transformed (pun entirely intended) the newest models of the German company’s cars into souped-up skin for D.Va and Pharah. Earlier this year, players got to dress up Cassidy as Spike Siegel and Ashe as Faye Valentine during the Cowboy Bebop collaboration, among other characters from the classic anime. Last year, fans put Doomfist in a skin based on Saitama from another hit anime, One-Punch Man.

The Overwatch 2 x Transformers collaboration begins tomorrow. Blizzard didn’t put a price tag on the Transformers skins nor mention whether they’ll be obtained as free rewards via gameplay. For reference, the Cowboy Bebop and Porsche skins cost a pretty penny, so you may be expected to spend big on the Transformers skin you like the best. Regardless, this crossover may appeal to players who played with Transformers action figures and watched the animated series when they were kids.
