Ultra-compact Tactical Titanium EDC packs 12 Different Tools in the size of an AirPods Case

We’ve seen carabiner clips with fold-out knives or screwdrivers before, but there’s something special about the Multi-Kit. Firstly, it isn’t a traditional carabiner, and secondly, it does a little more than integrate just a fold-out knife or screwdriver. In fact, it integrates a whopping 12 tools into its tiny form that’s roughly the size of an AirPods case. This Swiss Army Knife from an alternate reality has all the tools you need to disassemble stuff, repair objects, go camping, and even defend yourself in an emergency. Moreover, it’s made from Grade 5 Titanium, every EDC lover’s material of choice, making it not just incredibly robust and reliable, but also corrosion-proof and lightweight, at just 29.8 grams… that’s lighter than an AirPods case too!

The overall silhouette of the Multi-Kit is defined by the fact that it’s a carabiner. It comes with a hollow cutout in the center, sporting different tools across its periphery. The fact that it’s a carabiner matters probably the most here, given the entire form follows function philosophy – but the Multi-Kit isn’t your average carabiner. Rather than having a flexible arm, it sports a bolt-style mechanism with a spring-loaded bolt that’s much more secure, eliminating any accidental opening. This allows you to affix the Multi-Kit to your backpack or belt loop, or even slide a couple of keyrings in for a more consolidated EDC experience.

Move past the carabiner and you get to the Multi-Kit’s ‘meat’, its array of tools carefully integrated into the design. First, you’ve got the fold-out tools like the tiny D2 knife and the file for sanding down objects, designed to fold away into the body of the Multi-Kit when not in use. The small blade is diminutive but deadly, sporting a drop-point edge that’s perfect for cutting, piercing, and even scraping. For abrasive work, the file works remarkably well, with its top functioning as a pry bar and flathead screwdriver too. However, if you want to work with Philips-heads or any other kinds of screws, the Multi-Kit houses a hex-bit in a slot in its body. Held in place via magnets, the bit docks in when not in use, and can be pulled out and fixed into the front, transforming the multitool into a proper flat-grip driver that’s easy to twist.

The rest of the Multi-Kit’s tools are cleverly integrated into its body design. You’ve got a thick flathead screwdriver for larger, more stubborn screws, two hex wrenches (in 4mm and 6mm standard sizes), as well as a bottle opener for cracking open a cold one while you sweat away working on your DIY project or fixing up some tech or appliance.

Hiding away in plain sight is the Multi-Kit’s final tool, a tungsten-tip glass breaker that shatters even reinforced glass with a single strike. Perfect for exiting a car in an emergency (or breaking through the glass box to access a fire extinguisher), the tungsten top sits quietly in the bottom of the multitool’s design, and can be used simply by striking the tip against any glass with adequate force. Its abrasive properties make it great for etching on glass too, or even using as a glass scorer/cutter although that’s an art you’ll need to master.

Finally, the multitool packs a lanyard hole for stringing a lanyard or paracord grip through (either for style or if you’d rather use the carabiner for holding items instead of being a clip accessory). The titanium body even has tritium slots machined into it, so you can pop tritium capsules into your EDC to make it visible in low-light settings.

Despite its tool-rich design, the Multi-Kit remains remarkably compact. It slips easily into your pocket or clips onto a bag with its built-in carabiner, which doubles as yet another tool, further emphasizing the space-saving nature of the design. A lot of this gets attributed to the use of Grade-5 titanium as a material, one of the strongest-known materials to mankind. This makes the Multi-Kit about as robust as it is compact, and although makers at Eck Design don’t specifically guarantee the Multi-Kit will last forever, they do allude to the fact that it’ll definitely be the one EDC that can take on any activity you throw at it and still survive long enough to become an heirloom.

Designed for versatility, this multitool is perfect for those who love to be prepared without carrying a full toolbox. Whether you’re an outdoors enthusiast, a DIYer, or just someone who likes to have a reliable tool on hand, the Multi-Kit’s 12 functions cover everything from slicing to tightening bolts to providing that all-important bottle opener. It’s the kind of tool that you’ll find yourself reaching for more than you’d expect—if only to appreciate how much they managed to fit into something so small.

Compact EDC multi-tool is a toolbox in your pocket that’s ready to fix anything

One of the worst feelings in the world is facing a simple problem only to realize that you don’t have the right tool to fix it right then and there. This is especially true for people who work with their hands, whether as a tradesperson, a hobbyist, an adventurer, or even just someone who prefers to always be prepared to face any eventuality. Most would probably love to bring all their essential tools with them, but not only would that be cumbersome, it might even raise a few red flags here and there. Multifunctional tools or simply multi-tools for everyday carry bags and kits have become popular for this very reason, but many sacrifice functionality for the sake of boasting about their small sizes. Fortunately, it’s indeed possible to combine compactness and usefulness, and this handsome pocket wrench slash multi-tool is proud to show how.

It’s not that easy to find an EDC tool that perfectly balances quality, functionality, and accessibility. Some promise small and light designs but skimp on durability or offer very few tools inside their compact body, while others do come like a tank but cost like gold. That’s why the OmniPro Tool is such a marvel of design and engineering, cramming no less than nine features in a single tool that’s no bigger than a credit card.

Yes, the OmniPro Tool boasts nine functional tools, or ten if you include the lanyard. The wrench is probably the most obvious one, offering precision and a secure grip for quick fixes or adjustments. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, of course, as every nook and cranny of this pocket tool has a secret to tell. That same spanner, for example, can be used as a very accurate caliper that not only lets you measure objects in an instant but also demonstrates the design’s attention to detail and craftsmanship. Need to measure something straight or draw a straight line? The side of the OmniPro Tool also functions as a ruler for quick and easy measurements.

The OmniPro Tool also functions as a bit driver that supports standard 1/4-inch hex bits and 1/6-inch bits, ensuring that you’re always ready to tackle any project, repair job, or task. Even better, it features a bit storage compartment that can hold up to four standard 1/4-inch hex bits. The compartment magnetically attaches to the spanner so those bits are never far from where you need them. A bi-directional ratchet screwdriver allows you to quickly switch direction with a simple thumb flick so that you won’t need two tools when you can do with one. The bottom of the multi-tool has a strategically placed window breaker so that you won’t be caught unprepared for emergencies. And when the work is done, you can use the OmniPro Tool to open a bottle of your favorite beverage. It even works as a phone stand so you can just sit back and relax, watching your favorite shows.

Even with all these features, the OmniPro Tool maintains a compact and lightweight size that’s also durable and weatherproof thanks to Grade 5 Titanium. Another proof of its thoughtful design is the three slots that can accommodate 1.5mm x 6mm tritium illumination, helping you see and locate the tool even in the dark. Whether you’re ready to take on the great outdoors, planning your next DIY project, or simply preparing for anything life may throw at you, the OmniPro Tool lets you carry your toolbox in your pocket so that you will never leave home unprepared ever again.

Extreme EDC: This rugged Titanium Hatchet is your Best Friend for Outdoor and Tactical Scenarios

Sure, it’s no Thor’s Stormbreaker, but the HYZER’s handy size and reliable design make it a perfect part of your outdoor or camping EDC. With a highly customizable design that lets you choose the axe head thickness, handle length, and even the color of the grip, the HYZER can be personalized to your liking, whether you need something hefty for felling short trees, or just a light, sharp, maneuverable axe to skin hunted animals and defend yourself in a skirmish.

Designer: Exceed Designs

It isn’t often you see hatchets made from titanium. The material, known for its enduring nature, is often seen in smaller EDCs that need strength in a compact form factor. Hatchets, by definition, are large instruments, and can rely on brute force to make their impact. However, the HYZER’s choice of being machined from solid 6AL-4V GR5 titanium sets it apart in a bunch of ways. For starters, the material allows the axe to be a lot lighter and thinner than its steel counterparts. The HYZER features a skeletonized handle that shifts all the weight to the blade on top, allowing you to swing with force. The head, however, comes fashioned from D2 steel, known for its reliability and edge-retention. Heavier than titanium, it shifts the weight to the top which makes the hatchet more efficient.

The HYZER comes with a few potential modifications that allow you to personalize your EDC. You’ve got a choice between short and long handle lengths, with the option of either going with the skeletonized handle, or opting for a woven handle that offers a significantly better grip. Similarly, the axe head comes in three weight classes too – a lightweight variant that weighs 6.77 ounces, a medium variant that weighs 7.44 ounces, and the heaviest variant that weighs 8.88 ounces. The heads attach to the handle using four countersunk screws to maintain the HYZER’s flush, sleek design, and can easily be replaced or customized depending on your need.

So what would you really need a titanium hatchet for? Well, the HYZER is best suited for adventure and tactical situations. Whether it’s braving the elements in the outdoors, or just old-fashioned survival, the HYZER is quite the sidekick for the job. Depending on your handle, the HYZER Measures either 8.15″ or 9.75″ long, weighing 12.3 or 13.8 ounces. Storing the HYZER is easy thanks to the option of an add-on sheath. Maker ‘Exceed Designs’ offers a classic sheath made from genuine Horween leather, or a molded sheath made from Kydex with an included adjustable belt clip (shown above).

Aside from the various spec customizations, the HYZER also has a few color variants to choose from. The handle comes with a choice between stonewashed, grey, or black PVD finish, while the axe head has four colors to choose from, ranging from stonewashed to two shades of grey, and finally the PVD black variant. If you choose to have your handle wrapped in paracord, there are 8 color options you can choose from, ranging from vibrant to covert.

The HYZER Ti Hatchet starts at $170, with different attachments/modifications being available for an add-on cost. Each hatchet is assembled in USA and comes with a lifetime warranty. The HYZER is limited to just a 500-unit run, so if you’re interested in grabbing one for yourself, head to the Exceed Designs website and snag yourself a hatchet before it’s all gone!

Space-inspired titanium watch traces the Earth and Moon’s orbit around the Sun

Although the measurement of time is mostly a human construct, it has its basis in the natural world. A day is the time it takes for the sun to rise, set, and rise again, a month is how long it takes for the moon to go through all four of its phases, and a year is how long the seasons last. All of these, including the change of seasons, are pretty much the result of the orbit of the Earth around the sun and the orbit of the Moon around the Earth. It’s a movement that happens on a regular cadence without fail, which is to say it happens like clockwork. It’s no surprise, then, to find an elegant and luxurious watch that brings all these elements together, letting you watch not only the passage of time each day but also the journey of our planet and its companion.

Designer: Theo Auffret (Complication), Olivier Gamiette (Case, Dial) for SpaceOne Watches

Analog watches are already quite complex because of the mechanisms that make the parts move, but the SpaceOne Tellurium takes that to a whole new level with additional complications for its unique complication (pun intended). Aside from the typical hour and minute hands, this titanium watch also shows tiny versions of the Earth and the Moon going around a proportionally minuscule sun in the middle. The smaller spheres don’t simply go around the watch and call it a day, though, because the movement of these miniature Earth and Moon mirror the actual rhythm of their celestial counterparts.

Connected to the watch’s Soprod Caliber P024 movement is a star wheel with 31 teeth, representing the days in a month. When the date changes, this wheel advances two small star wheels, both with 12 teeth, that advance the month and move the Tellurium complication, respectively. The Earth, and therefore also the Moon, is connected to a ring with 365 teeth, which makes it complete a revolution once a year. With this mechanism, you can accurately follow the movement of the Earth and the Moon and even predict the next full or new moon phases. Consequently, it also means you will need to adjust and fine-tune the watch every time the number of days in a month changes between 30 and 31.

The watch’s celestial beauty is complemented by its premium materials and stunning design. Grade 5 titanium gives the case and strap buckle durability and lightness while also lending an elegant appearance. Instead of the typical quarter division of numbers, the watch face is divided into three sections only, forming a triangular shape that feels more suitable for a space-inspired design. This visual is further enhanced by a black and blue color scheme, with a sprinkle of white dots to represent stars against the darkness of space.
