Note and Sketch Anytime, Anywhere with this Magnetic-binding Clipboard

Productivity systems like GTD and the Bullet Journal have made paper notebooks all the rage again. But while it’s inspiring to see so many creative designs for notebooks and stationery, these can also get in the way when you just need to write or sketch something down. Bound notebooks might not have the right combination of grids and lines that you need, or they might have too many or too few pages. Ring binders let you add, remove, and move pages, but the rings tend to get in the way, and the holes lead to tears and unaesthetic pages. You could always make a DIY notebook combining just the sheets and designs that you need, but keeping them together can also be a hassle. If all these sound familiar to you, here’s how this simple yet ingenious clipboard removes the friction when it’s time to take notes while also letting you design your notebook your way.

Gather the Paper You Need and Want

Rather than limiting yourself to the type and number of pages a notebook comes with, this clipboard lets you mix and match any kind of paper that fits inside it. An A4 jacket, for example, can hold A4 paper or A3 paper folded in half, while the A5 version can use A5 and A4 sheets in the same way. You can use unmarked blank paper, grid paper, dotted sheets, printed designs, or anything you want or need to give your thoughts a physical form.

You can really use any paper that you can write on, even those with printed text on the back. This is an excellent way to make use of those discarded sheets before they’re dumped into the bin. Even perforated or loose leaf paper with holes is fair game because they can easily be hidden inside the jacket’s “margin.”

Clip Paper Easily in Any Order

Unlike typical binders, this clipboard uses a clever Magnet x Lever mechanism to hold those loose sheets together while still letting you easily remove them as needed. Simply pushing down on the edge lifts up the clip, releasing the paper and allowing you to add or remove sheets in a snap. The clip can hold up to 30 sheets of paper, but it can secure even a single sheet if that’s all that you have left.

This deceptively simple design gives you absolute freedom in how you arrange your notes. You can always put a blank page at the top of the stack, ready to meet the tip of your pen or pencil at a moment’s notice, or you can order them according to topic or a specific flow of thought. Or you can just leave them as-is and none will be the wiser.

Take Notes Anywhere

This ultra-minimalist paper notebook isn’t just easy to organize, it’s also super easy to use. Simply lift the flip tab to open the notebook and you’re good to go. You can even leave your pen inside so that it’s ready the next time inspiration strikes. The same strong magnets that keep the sheets of paper together also keep the cover from accidentally opening and exposing your precious scribbles. The jacket’s rigid hardcover and flexible angle make it trivial to fold it around and hold it in one hand, allowing you to take notes even while standing up.

Best of all, both the inside and outside of the jacket are waterproof and you can easily wipe any drops that fall on it. This gives you the flexibility to not just take notes anywhere but also take your notes everywhere. You can even put it up on a metallic surface or whiteboard thanks to its magnetic clip. Time to ditch those pretty but inflexible notebooks and embrace the freedom that this magnetic, loose paper jacket can bring to your creativity and productivity.

Magnetic Levitating UFO Bluetooth Speaker

This is for sure one of the coolest speakers we’ve seen. It’s literally floating. Or least the top half is. If you can bet the bottom part to float too, call us, we’ve got a proposal for ya, probably not that illegal. This Levitating Bluetooth Speaker uses the magical and mysterious power of magnets (how do they work?) to make the speaker float in mid-air. Meanwhile it can also spin around like an alien carousel full of little aliens riding cows around in a circle. Why do aliens like cows so much anyway?

So the speaker, yeah, the speaker connects to your phone or whatnot (probably your phone though) via bluetooth and pumps out that bassy bass with 5W audio drivers. Feel the earth move under your feet, because this speaker won’t feel the earth at all since it’s floating. There is a rechargeable battery in there since we’ve yet to develop anything better. Perhaps some actual aliens could help us out a bit on that front? Please? We’ll give you more cows.

This speaker looks pretty sleek, and has a modern look with it’s glowing light. It’s an instant party, just like aliens like to do. Party with cows. You can also just use the UFO top part on it’s own with the base, but what fun would that be?

Lazlo is a handsome ballpoint pen that celebrates the joys of writing

You don’t need complex mechanisms to elevate the ballpoint, as this innovative pen beautifully demonstrates.

It has almost been 85 years since the first ballpoint pen was revealed to the public and patented by inventor Lazlo Biro. Since then, the writing tool has become a staple of everyday life, making writing more accessible and more common. Unfortunately, the proliferation of cheap ballpoint pens has also made both the act and the tool more mundane, taking for granted one of the key accomplishments of human civilization. Every now and then, a new pen appears that reminds us of the unique experience of writing, and the Lazlo is one such instrument that brings back those feelings with a pen whose simplicity and beauty belie the ingenuity inside and the quality writing experience it delivers.

Many ballpoint pens today employ complex mechanisms and components in an attempt to make the writing experience more pleasurable. Unfortunately, it has the opposite effect of making the pen more prone to malfunctions and less likely to last a long time. Most of the time, making things simpler is actually the solution, and this pen named after the Father of Ballpoint applies that philosophy but with a special twist, literally and figuratively.

The Patent Pending Mechanism – Diametrically opposed neodymium magnets rotate bi-directionally to engage and disengage the cartridge to create an unparalleled crisp click.

The Lazlo pen utilizes a patent-pending dipole magnetic mechanism that extends or retracts the ballpoint with a simple twist of the knurled top of the pen. There are no springs involved, reducing the chances of the pen breaking due to wear and tear or broken parts. You still get a satisfying snap when you twist the cap, though, and some might even be tempted to use the pen as a makeshift fidget toy while letting ideas percolate in your head. The pen’s minimalist aesthetic makes it a good fit for any stationery or desk theme, but you still have a choice of materials and their corresponding weight. The anodized space-grade aluminum blends well with many laptops of the same hue and is the lighter option at only 40g. The precision-machined solid brass, on the other hand, has a bit of heft at 65g but ages gracefully with a patina over time. Whichever variant you choose, you are guaranteed a well-balanced tool that will feel comfortable and stable in your hand.

A Satisfying, Balanced Weight – The profile is marginally tapered, forming an elegant shape which is both comfortable in your hand and balanced in weight.

Longevity Tested to 80+ Years of Use.

Featuring Schmidt – The Schmidt MegaLine ballpoint refill is a highly sophisticated writing module based on a gas-pressurized system. This enables you to not only write upside down but also in the most extreme environmental conditions.

The Drop Stand.

Unlike most ballpoint pens, Lazlo is designed not just with durability and longevity in mind but also with sustainability. Its all-metal construction means that every part of the pen is recyclable. The steel clip that lets you conveniently carry the Lazlo pen in your front pocket is easily removable, and so is the front cap that gives easy access to the refill inside. It uses widely-available Schmidt MegaLine ballpoint refills, which utilize an innovative gas-pressurized system that lets you write even upside-down. The pen is also now compatible with Euro-Style cartridges, expanding your choices of refills. This means you won’t have to keep on buying new pens just because the ink has run out. Everything about the pen is designed to make it easy to repair, maintain, and preserve, ensuring that it will be around for years.

Even the packaging is made from sustainable and recyclable materials, including the cork drop stand that comes with every pen. You could, of course, also opt for a metal drop stand that matches the pen’s brass or aluminum body. There is also a Lazlo Sheath designed specifically for the pen, made from premium Badalassi Carlo leather that ages well with the pen itself. Whether you prop it up on a stand, keep it in your pocket, or display it in its leather bed, the all-metal Lazlo ballpoint pen will look striking in its simplicity, serving as a visual reminder of the simple joys of writing with a good pen.

Stranger Things Dishwasher Magnet Sends Dirty Dishes to the Upside Down

I just finished watching the latest season of Stranger Things (at least the part released so far), and let me tell you: It is INTENSE. And because Stranger Thing merchandise is hotter than the devil’s bathwater right now, this is a Stranger Things dishwasher magnet available from AlwaysFits.

The magnet has “CLEAN” on one side, but you flip it over TO THE UPSIDE DOWN when the dishwasher is dirty. I’m not sure what you’re supposed to do when the dishwasher is empty and there’s just a pile of filthy dishes in the sink, but my plan is to wait for my roommate to do them.

I’ll be honest, the Upside Down does NOT look like a place I’d want to visit. I don’t care if my best friend is trapped in there, I can always find a new best friend, but I can’t bring myself back to life. I’m just being realistic here.

This tiny, deceptively simple storage solution makes storing your knickknacks and coins fun!

Plus, it can even be your new fidget toy, too!

We often devote a lot of space and attention to desk organizers, drawers, containers, and whatnot for some of the biggest sources of clutter in our lives. We have cases for pencils and pens, trays for paper, bins for magazines, and even drawers for watches, phones, and keys. These are, of course, useful and much-needed, but sometimes the biggest problems are actually the smallest items in our possession. Paperclips, small jewelry, dice, and especially coins seem to defy our efforts to keep a clean desk despite their size. In fact, it’s exactly because they’re so small that we tend to take them for granted until they’ve amassed enough numbers to invade the pristine surfaces of our tables and shelves. Fortunately, this coin bank not only makes it too easy to drop coins and other stuff into its bin, but it also makes it fun to take them out again when you finally have use for them.

Click Here to Buy Now: $58.50 $65 (10% off). Hurry, sale ends May 15th.

There are plenty of coin banks, sometimes even in pig shapes, and most of them are designed to make it harder to take out the coins you put in. Ironically, they also seem to be designed to make it difficult to put in stuff in the first place. The thin slots that barely have room for the coin are like eye slits that leer at your feeble attempts to save money. More often than not, people just tend to leave their coins lying around as a consequence, eventually losing them completely in the long run.

The Coin Bank makes it trivial to put things inside it while also making it easy to take items out. The large hole in the middle welcomes coins and objects of many sizes, but it’s the concave shape of the lid’s surface that almost makes the activity fun. Simply drop your coins, die, jewelry, or knickknacks and watch them slide inside. You don’t need to be a basketball pro or a sharpshooter to make sure those things end up inside rather than the outside.

And when the time comes to use those hard-earned savings, simply push the lid to move it out of the way. The lid almost floats over the bin, so there’s barely any resistance when you need it to swing open. At the same time, the magnetic rotating mechanism keeps it steady and prevents it from opening at the slightest movement. The lid’s bouncing and swinging movement can be so addictive that you might find yourself using it as your new fidget toy.

This rather innovative coin bank isn’t just useful, it’s also beautiful. It combines the best of the Earth to present a minimalist wonder on your desk. The upper lid is made from beech wood, conveying a feeling of warmth both to the eyes and to the touch. The aluminum body, on the other hand, may look and feel cold but offers stability and durability to the container. Together, these elements contrast and combine in a harmonious way that almost entices you to drop things into it and play with its lid for a while.

Keeping surfaces clutter-free doesn’t have to be a chore, especially if you have tools that almost turn it into a game. With a lid that lets things slide easily inside but then smoothly swivels out of the way to reveal its contents, this minimalist coin bank removes all friction and hurdles in putting small items out of the way. It might even help you save more money because it’s so addictive to watch the coins just slide into your bank for safekeeping.

This futuristic pen hovers like magic in defiance of gravity and boredom

Break free from the problems that weigh you down with this stylish pen that looks like a spaceship ready to blast off into higher levels of productivity.

We all have our favorite writing tool. For some, it’s a specific brand pen brand. For others, it’s a very specific kind of pen. Many of those with a passionate love for ink keep their prized pen proudly standing on their desk, ready to be picked up and used. Not everyone does so, however, and quite a few expensive-looking designer pens remain as decorative pieces, untouched and unused, almost like they were fragile artifacts rather than tools to help us grow. This pen is anything but just a pretty face and is built almost like a spaceship. More importantly, it actually invites us to stare at it and even have fun with it, all for the sake of actually improving our productivity.

Static, immobile pen stands are so last century. If you’re going to show off a pen, you might as well do everything to catch people’s attention. That’s what this levitating pen brings to the table, almost literally. Rather than simply leaning at a 23.5-degree angle, this pen looks as if it were on the verge of falling over. It never does, of course, thanks to the almost magical science of magnets.

Despite its otherworldly feat, almost everything about this levitating pen is begging to be touched, felt, and played with. Give the pen a twist while docked in its station and be mesmerized by its continuous kinetic motion. If you’re more of the “hands-on” type of person, you can also pull out the magnetic cap and have that spin around on the desk, using the pen like a magic wand that has granted you telekinetic powers.

Of course, the pen is more than just a visual novelty and a toy. It is a true-blooded tool for putting your thoughts on paper. Compatible with standard SCHMIDT D1 ballpoint refills, you can be assured that your pen will keep on writing forever, as long as you have a stock of refills at hand. Thanks to its aircraft-grade aluminum body, it’s also guaranteed to last just as long, maybe for a few decades at the very least.

Despite its almost cold metal body and space-worthy talents, this futuristic writing tool remains approachable and human. The soft satin-like finish makes it soft to the touch, and its twisting form is more than just for show, though it is definitely an eye-catching design. It’s actually designed for ergonomics, with the curves nestling comfortably inside your hand and won’t slide off or cut into your skin while you hold it.

Available in our shop in black and silver color choices, this levitating pen makes any writing task smoother and more enjoyable. And when your brain needs a break, you can spin the pen or the cap to get those creative juices flowing again. Whether it’s docked or in your hand, this spacecraft-like ballpoint pen is ready to launch your productivity and consciousness into new heights while having fun along the way.

Mitsubishi-inspired Shinkansen car imagines high-speed travel of the future

When talking about futuristic cars, most probably imagine self-driving automobiles that free their drivers to sit back, relax, and connect with other people inside. These visions often involve highways that are so clean and spacious that it’s possible to conveniently and safely cruise roads without bumping into another self-driving car. Given today’s traffic congestion, however, that’s a far too idealistic vision. One concept sticks a bit closer to reality while leaving the doors of possibility wide open, envisioning how cars can travel more quickly using the same technologies that power Japan’s famous bullet trains.

Designer: Timur Dautov

People want to travel fast, but few actually know how to do so safely, especially when it comes to staying on the right lane. Traveling at high speeds on a more or less straight path is something that Japan’s Shinkansen trains have already had mastered for decades. Unsurprisingly, this serves as the seed for this concept of a Shinkansen car that can travel both on regular city roads and on high-speed maglev tracks.

Taking inspiration from both the N700 train that launched into service in 2007 as well as Mitsubishi’s design language, the “Mitsubishi Shinkansen” exhibits a sleek, aerodynamic design that is almost reminiscent of a real bullet. The concept doesn’t exactly show passenger doors, so the design looks unbroken and whole, reducing the possible air friction that will come from seams.

What gives this car concept its dual capabilities are the retractable “fins” along its side that slide out when the car is traveling on a maglev highway. The magnets in these fins help propel the car at high speeds, pretty much like how bullet trains work today. Additionally, the maglev track can also charge the car while en route, thanks to power coils on the car’s belly as well as on the ground, just like today’s wireless charging technologies.

The Mitsubishi Shinkansen offers an interesting and slightly different glimpse of future travel, utilizing tracks that will let cars travel safely at high speeds. At the same time, it also showcases a futuristic car design that embraces Mitsubishi’s design language, like its “dynamic shield” fascia, reinterpreted in a way that would look out of this world when standing beside the carmaker’s current roster. Like a bullet, its form clearly marks it for speed while still maintaining an approachable design that makes it into what the designer calls a “car for the whole family.”

Nomad Base One MagSafe sits pretty while it charges your iPhone and AirPods

Nomad Base One MagSafe Design

The MagSafe system has proven to be convenient for most Apple products. The technology was first designed for the MacBooks, but it has since extended to iPhones. There are now dozens to probably hundreds or thousands of MagSafe chargers available as numerous manufacturers are introducing new products.

The latest is the Nomad MagSafe Base One charger that makes a first impression that lasts with its glass and aluminum design. It is an official third-party charger you can use for your iPhone as it offers official MFi MagSafe charging. Base One works with most Qi devices, delivering up to a maximum of 15W charging speed. The iPhone charger comes with a weighted metal body complemented by an elevated glass panel. The combination results in a look that can fit most interiors and space.

Designer: Nomad

Nomad Base One MagSafe

Nomad’s MagSafe Base One charger shows a solid metal and glass design, but it is not something delicate to hold and touch. It may remind you of a hockey puck, even with its rounded square shape. However, the weighted build gives it a sturdy form, so you do not have to worry about it easily being damaged. If you decide to get this, know that the 30W USB-C Adapter is not included in the box, but you can get it with a 50% discount right now.

The new charger is available in two color options only: Silver or Carbide. The Silver version looks very clean and minimalist, very Apple-like. Meanwhile, the darker option, the Carbide, appears to be more classy, although it is not all black because the middle part that does the charging is still white. Either color of the stylish charger will look good in most spaces like your home office, study room, living room, or bedroom. You can even place one in the kitchen, so you do not have to bring any charger—just keep one in every room in the house. We are not sure, though if it is fingerprint or scratch-resistant but we are hoping it is.

The designers of this charger used high-quality metal chassis and a premium glass panel. The Apple MagSafe Charger technology inside is expected to work without any problem. You can place the charger on any flat surface and not worry about it slipping or falling off because of the anti-slip rubber base. This weighs 515 grams and measures 97mm x 97mm x 18.75mm, which is less than four inches with its rounded corners that are reminiscent of a Mac Mini. Out of the box, a two-meter USB-C to USB-C cable is included. Nomad is throwing in one of its braided cables that do not chip or fray easily.

When it comes to compatibility, the MagSafe Charger works with Qi wireless charging devices and iPhone 8 units and later models. It has a magnetic alignment feature, but it only works for iPhone 12 series and above, so units are kept in place. The charger shows a raised design, and this is intentional so it can work with any smartphone camera thickness. Still not convinced about the Base One? Read this: it can also wireless charge your AirPods. It also works with Nomad protective smartphone cases as they are compatible with wireless charging, except for those wallet-style cases with cards. If you are wondering, sadly, the Base One cannot charge the Apple Watch so that is a bummer.

Nomad Base One MagSafe Charger

The $129.95 price tag may be just right for a wireless charger of this quality. That is a bit pricey for just a charger, but devices capable of wireless charging are already expensive. If you can afford those premium iPhones or AirPods, then you can also afford such a wireless charger. But then Nomad could have made this a double charger so you can charge more than just a single device. If you want to charge multiple devices simultaneously, including an Apple Watch, Nomad has the slightly more expensive Base Station and Base Station Pro.

This  MFi accessory (Made for iPhone/iPod/iPad) is functional, but hardcore Apple fans will probably love it more for its appearance. It is a stylish charging mat that works fast and is very convenient. Ugly black or white chargers are no longer wanted today because there are pretty ones like the Nomad Base One Charger but for a premium cost. It is better than those regular chargers you can get for a low price. You can say it is one premium MagSafe charger worth the price because of its solid build and aesthetics that will last.

Star Wars Severed Luke Skywalker and Wampa Hand Magnets

Adding to Regal Robot’s Separation Collection, the company has introduced two new magnets: a severed Luke Skywalker hand holding a lightsaber and a severed wampa hand. These are joining the previously posted tauntaun head magnet that was the first in the collection. Am I gonna catch ’em all like Pokémon? I’m pretty sure my fridge would hate me if I didn’t.

Each magnet costs $30, is cast from solid resin, and hand-painted by Regal Robot’s artists. Can you make a special request for some blood splatter on the wampa arm? No, unfortunately, you’ll have to add those finishing touches yourself once the magnets arrive.

In the coming months, the hands will soon be joined by yet another addition to the collection, which from the image above is very clearly a severed C-3P0 arm, and not Jar Jar Binks’ severed head like you might have guessed if you’re a terrible, but wishful guesser.
