Toshiba has unveiled two new BD recorders namely the BDR-Z260 and BDR-Z250. The BDR-Z260 offers a 2TB of hard disk drive, while the BDR-Z250 provides a smaller 1TB of hard disk drive. Both models are equipped with two Digital TV tuners, USB Video recording, DLNA support and a remote controller. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time. [Akihabara]
JVC today announced the availability of the SR-HD2500US in the U.S. market. The JVC SR-HD2500US features a built-in Blu-ray recorder and a 500GB hard disk drive for easy duplication and disc authoring without the need of a PC. This hard drive is able to hold up to 24-hour of HD footage. There is also an HD/SD-SDI input, a USB 2.0 port, a i.Link (IEEE-1394) port, HDMI, an SDHC card slot, Composite, S-Video and an RS-232 port for external control.
