The Beer Briefcase Is A Thing That Exists

Spending too much on craft beers might not be enough to make you feel like these beers are really special. What you need is to wrap them up in a special briefcase with a beer-shaped foam placeholder, so that way you can look like a true fancy pants beer connoisseur when you get to the party. The Beer Briefcase does just that, and it comes with 6 fancy pants craft beers already: Titan IPA by Great Divide, Two Hearted Ale by Bell’s, Hop Ottin’ by Anderson Valley, Sculpin IPA by Ballast Point, Racer 5 by Bear Republic, Indian Brown Ale by Dogfish Head. We don’t know the first thing about fancy craft beer, so we’re hoping they, and the briefcase, justify the $75 asking price.

This Briefcase Doubles As A Bulletproof Shield

mts-briefcase

There are parts of the world where you’d be better off wearing a bulletproof vest. Heck, even a full suit of armour might even be a good idea in some spots. But that’s uncomfortable and cumbersome, and it turns out there are alternatives. Like the MTS Multi-Threat Shield briefcase, which looks like a regular laptop bag until you realize it’s time to unfurl it and turn it into a legit shield. A simple “flick of the wrist” is enough to get the transformation going, so you can be protected quickly. And it’ll stop “multiple impacts from most handgun, knife, shotgun and pistol caliber sub-machine gun threats. (Protection against high-powered rifles is available with a Level III insert plate; sold separately.)” It’s not super light at 8 lbs., and definitely even heavier with a Level III insert plate, but for the kind of protection this affords you we figure you can suck it up. It’s $900 to own.

Taking Beer Seriously: The Beer Briefcase

beer_briefcase_1

You could show up to the party with your 6-pack of beers nestled comfortably inside a cardboard box. You know, like common people do… Or, you could show up with the Beer Briefcase. Watch your friends realize that when it comes to beer, you mean business. Each bottle is individually wrapped and protected from clanging up against its neighbour, and the hard exterior saves them from accidental knockage. At $45, there are much more expensive ways to make less of an impact.
