Synology has listed a new 12-bay NAS server ‘FlashStation FS1018’ on its product page. Designed for I/O-intensive and latency-sensitive applications, this desktop form factor all-flash NAS server is equipped with a 2.2GHz Intel Pentium D1508 64-bit dual-core processor, an 8GB DDR4 RAM and twelve 2.5” SATA SSD bays (up to 48TB).
Ideal for running business applications like mail services, virtualization and latency-sensitive applications, this 12-bay NAS server comes with a Kensington Security Slot, 2x expansion ports, 1x PCIe 3.0 slot, 3x USB 3.0 ports, 4x 1GbE RJ-45 ports and 2x built-in 92mm fans.
