Apacer Hits Back With A New Line Of CompactFlash Memory Cards

Here comes a new line of CompactFlash memory cards from Apacer, the Industrial CF6 (CFC 6-M). Coming in capacities ranging from 8GB to 128GB, these thumb-sized cards make use of MLC NAND Flash memory chips, have built-in ATA Secure Erase and S.M.A.R.T (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) functions, and can deliver read and write speeds of up to 90MB/s and 60MB/s, respectively.

Furthermore, these Industrial CF6 (CFC 6-M) cards are compliant with CFA 6.0 specifications and support for Intelligent Power Failure Recovery, 72-bit ECC function, advanced wear-leveling function and Block Management function.

Toshiba hits back with a new line of CompactFlash memory cards, the EXCERIA PRO. Coming in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB sizes, these thumb-sized cards are compliant with CF 6.1 specification, correspond to Video Performance Guarantee Profile 2 standard (VPG-65) and can deliver read/write speeds of up to 160/95 MB/s (16GB Model) and 160/150 MB/s (32GB and 64GB Models), respectively. Available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB sizes, these thumb-sized cards are compliant with CF 6.0 specification, have built-in BCH ECC (Error Correction Code) technology and can deliver read and write speeds of up to 160MB/s and 120MB/s, respectively.
