Buffalo has introduced a new line of dual interface portable hard drives namely the HD-PATU3-C. Coming in two different storage capacities: 1TB and 2TB, these travel-friendly portable hard drives feature a durable aluminum enclosure, a USB 3.1 (Gen1) connection interface, a Thunderbolt connection interface and HFS + (Mac OS Extended format) format.

Measuring W81mm x D130mm x H23mm and weighing 260 grams, the HD-PATU3-C portable hard drives are also compatible with backup software ‘Time Machine’, which is a standard feature in Mac OS X (or later 10.5).

The Buffalo HD-PATU3-C portable hard drives will start shipping from early November for around $278 (1TB model) and $365 (2TB model), respectively. [Product Page]
