Samsung has officially announced their latest quad-core Android 4.4 tablet, the Galaxy Tab E. Measuring 8.5mm thick and weighing 490 grams, this mid-range tablet is built with a 9.6-inch 1280 x 800 TFT touchscreen display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, a 1.5GB RAM, an 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB).

For taking pictures and videos, the tablet has a 2MP front-facing camera and a 5MP rear-facing autofocus camera. Powered by a built-in 5000mAh battery, the Galaxy Tab E provides WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS for connectivity, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is now listed on Samsung’s website for Taiwan and will be out by the end of the month for around $226. [Product Page]

Here we have another upcoming quad-core Android 4.4 tablet from BLUEDOT, the BNT-710. As a successor to the BNT-700 which was released in February 2014, this budget-friendly tablet is packed with a 7.0-inch 1024 x 600 WSVGA touchscreen display, a 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor, a 1GB RAM and an 8GB of internal storage.

Measuring 12.5mm thick and weighing 285 grams, the tablet is built with a 30 million pixels front-facing web camera, a microSD card slot (up to 128GB), a micro-USB port and a headphone jack. Running on Android 4.4.2 OS, the BNT-710 provides WiFi 802.11 b/g/n for connectivity.
