Transcend has announced their newest USB 3.1 portable hard drive ’StoreJet 200’ for Mac users. Coming in 2TB of storage capacity, this elegantly designed and lightweight hard drive is housed in a sleek aluminum alloy casing (w/ classic silver color, CNC-finished edges and sturdy industrial design) and features a high-speed USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C connection interface (USB Type-C cable and USB Type-C to Type-A cable are included) and a pre-formatted HFS+ file system allowing use right out of the box.

Silicon Power has unveiled a new line of USB 3.1 portable hard drives namely the Armor A75. Coming in two different storage capacities: 1TB and 2TB, these shockproof portable hard drives (up to 1.22m / MIL-STD 810G 516.7 Procedure IV transit drop test) are equipped with an aviation-grade aluminum casing and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 connection interface for high-speed data transfers.

Featuring an aircraft inspired design, these sleek portable hard drives come with a slim ‘L’ shaped LED status light that can be seen from most angles and support for Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP, Mac OS 10.5.x or later and Linux 2.6.31 or later operating systems.
