Elecom has just listed a new wireless mouse on its product page, the M-EG30DR. Coming in a 3-button design, this ultra lightweight egg-shaped wireless mouse (30 grams) makes use of 2.4GHz radio frequency (works up to 10 meters) and features an IR LED sensor, an 1800dpi resolution, OMRON switch to the left and right buttons and a storable micro-USB receiver.

Powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery (up to 56 hours of continuous operation time), the M-EG30DR supports for Windows 8.1, 7, Vista, XP and Mac OS Sierra 10.12 operating systems. Elecom hits back with their new wireless network camera, the NCC-EWF100RMWH2. Coming with WiFi repeater function – to extend the radio range of the wireless LAN into out-of-reach areas of the home, this plug and play network camera is equipped with a 1.0MP CMOS image sensor, a 115-degree wide-angle lens, a built-in microphone, a microSD card slot, a USB port, a LAN port and built-in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.

Furthermore, the NCC-EWF100RMWH2 provides security through encryption using WPA2 (TKIP/AES), WPA (TKIP/AES) and WEP (64/128bit). Finally, the NCC-EWF100RMWH2 can capture both 720p HD video at 24fps in H.264 format and up to 1MP still images in JPEG format.

Elecom ESD-EA USB 3.0 Portable SSDs Announced

Elecom is pleased to announce their newest line of USB 3.0 portable SSDs, the ESD-EA. Coming in three different storage capacities: 120GB, 240GB and 480GB (Black, White & Red color options), these business card sized SSDs are equipped with TLC NAND Flash memory chips, a USB 3.0 connection interface and LED lights to indicate the access state.

Measuring W93mm x D54mm x H9mm and weighing 35 grams, these compact and lightweight SSDs promise to deliver read and write speeds of up to 350MB/s and 60MB/s (120GB model), 350MB/s and 80MB/s (240GB model), and 350MB/s and 100MB/s (480GB model), respectively.

In addition, the ESD-EA SSDs comes with a free to download security software with password auto authentication PASS (Password Authentication Security System). Elecom has showed off another one of its upcoming dual-band WiFi router, the WRC-2533GHBK-I. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), this home router is equipped with 8x internal antennas (4×4), 1x Internet LAN port and 4x LAN ports, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 800Mbps and 5GHz – 1733Mbps).

In addition, the WRC-2533GHBK-I comes with ‘Beam Forming Z’ function for improving your WiFi reception and reducing interference, and ‘Hardware NAT’ function – wired throughput up to 940Mbps.
