AeroPad Two Dock is One Huge iPad Dock

There are all sorts of docks available for your iPad, but this one is about twice the price of a basic 16GB iPad, so it’s definitely in a league of it’s own. This designer dock, created by electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre, is called the AeroPad Two. Despite its name, it’s not going to help your iPad fly off, but it will fly away with ten Benjamins out of your wallet.

The AeroPad Two will not only dock your iPad, but it will also take on your iPhone or iPod Touch thanks to its 30-pin dock connector. It has four 30-watt speakers and an 80-watt subwoofer. There’s also an integrated USB port to plug in USB flash drives, and it supports WMA, AIFF, WAV and MP3 files.

The dock measures almost 34″ wide by 12″ tall, and weighs in at a hefty 22 pounds. It’s made from stainless steel with chrome accents, and is available in either black, white or bamboo. About the only thing not to like about this substantial dock is the price. The AeroPad Two will set you back €699 (~$924 USD). If you’ve got the money to spare, you can place a pre-order here for delivery starting this September.
