A Functional and Truly Usable Food Storage Solution

The storage of food is a market that designers have tackled a lot in the past, but none of the solutions have looked or worked quite like this one. Slock’s designer, Minki Kim, viewed the area from a different viewpoint and identified that common food storage systems focused primarily on the functionality and overlooked the usability, making the containers difficult to carry around, especially multiple at a time.

Slock’s design allows three containers to be carried using the curved, comfortable handle. When the user arrives at the table the, rather clever, sliding structure allows the three containers to lie horizontally on the table with ease, avoiding accidents and unwanted spillages.

The combination of curved glass, unusual round form and pared-back color options allow for Slock to seamlessly integrate into the kitchen’s interior décor.

While locking the ‘slock’, the pressure between the food storage containers enhances the seal.

Your Very Own Personalized Fragrance!

Very commonly, perfumes and aftershaves are disposed of before the bottle is empty due to ever-changing personal preferences and trends. This is a wasteful approach to the problem and something that the designers of ‘Blow’ identified.

Blow is a beautifully designed, compact device that creates a fragrance unique to the user and it does this through AI algorithms and Big Data! By selecting which AI holds the most information about them and selecting the type of fragrance they would like, the five capsules housed inside Blow will mix a unique scent for the user.

Unlike traditional perfume bottles which are suited to only spraying a specific concentrated area at a time, Blow uses a fine, delicate mist to dispense the scent, allowing for a far broader coverage. All of this advanced technology is housed within a minimal and compact body that would look right at home on your dressing table!

Run ‘with’ Friends

Running is one of them activities which is easy to start, but even easier to give up! ‘With’ is a running accessory that aims to stop this from happening by encouraging the user to share their goal distance with a partner.

Running with a friend can help a person feel more energetic and make their goals more achievable. When their partner begins their run their device will begin to flicker, this flicker will turn to a blue light if they begin to race, really turning up the competition!

The ergonomic and sleek form offers a physical benefit to the user; gripping the device in their hand as they run can increase both their endurance and concentration levels. Integrated into the device is a ‘voice call’ function to help them stay connected with their partner and give the sense that they are running right there, next to them.
