I’ve reviewed thousands of wildly creative, far-out, futuristic concepts over the years, but it’s still the most simple of ideas — the ones that make you wonder why you didn’t think of them first — that inspire me the most. This design, simply called ‘Basket,’ is one of those ideas.
It’s the result of a simplistic reimagining of the traditional basket. Just by splitting the mold and add a rotation feature to the handle, the versatility of the classic basket design is essentially doubled. Useful for a variety of shopping scenarios, the shape is instantly transformed by flipping the two sides around. Users can make it deeper or longer depending on the contents. Pure genius!
