Apacer has introduced a new line of USB 3.0 portable hard drives, the AC532. Combining a slim shape with great protection design, these classic portable hard drives (1TB & 2TB models) are built with a USB 3.1 Gen.1 Type-A connection interface and feature triple safety protections: anti vibration internal suspension structure, 1-meter shockproof and anti-slip design on two sides.

Supporting Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, XP, Mac OS 10.4 X or above and Linux Kernel 2.6.X or above operating systems, the AC532 portable hard drives can store up to half a million songs, one million digital pictures or 833 hours of Full HD video, and are compliant with international standards such as CE, FCC, RCM and BSMI, providing safety guarantee for users.

Buffalo has announced a new line of USB 3.0 portable hard drives, the HD-PNQU3/V. Coming in two different storage capacities: 500GB and 1TB, these travel-friendly portable hard drives feature a shock-resistant body (w/ shock absorbing frame & 8 pieces (2×4 corners) shock absorbing rubber guard) and a USB 3.0 connection interface, and are compatible with the copyright protection standard ‘SeeQVault’.

In addition, the HD-PNQU3/V portable hard drives also come with ‘View QVault playback’ software for Windows ‘DiXiM SeeQVault Play’ and ‘DISK FORMATTER 2’ software – the drive can be easily formatted.
