Old Body, New Brains

It’s hard not to get passionate about motorbikes, especially Cafe Racers. With the everyday advances in electric vehicles, there comes the ability to change the design language of the body, and it’s no surprise that we see more and more concepts emerging that are sleeker and more eye-catching than before. So there is no doubt that one of the most synonymous brands gets a redesign with a near-futuristic feel.

Welcome the Honda Model Electric Cafe Racer 1 – designed with the brand’s vision in mind, “Protection,” “Design,” “Useful.” Built with the Honda 125cc Cafe Racer body in mind, with an electric motor, the bike won’t have the classic beauty of the engine exposed, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be beautiful. Replacing the petrol tank is the small backlit display for the battery levels, voltage, and energy. This beauty still reflects the style and image of the old Honda CB650 but still holds it’s own in the dawn of electrical modifications. Striking, bold, yet inviting, the Honda Model Electric Cafe Racer 1 is exciting and definitely welcome to the world of two-wheelers.

This bike has fire in its eyes!

You’d have to be extremely cool to be able to pull off a red colored headlight, and this Electric Cafe Racer manages to do that with panache! Normally reserved for taillights, the red color does look pretty wicked on the front of the bike, giving it a devious appearance. I can’t speak for whether this actually reduces visibility or not, but it sure gives the bike a wicked demeanor!
