Suitcase Turns Scooter Turns Suitcase!

Scooter

Dragging suitcases about has always been a hassle for most of us; but now, things are about to take a dramatic turn. He Liangchai, a Chinese entrepreneur, has come up with a unique concept of a suitcase that can be transformed into a scooter. The scooter, which is capable of transporting two people, is a multi-functional commuter that is equipped with features like a GPS navigator, a horn and even a burglar alarm. The handle of the suitcase is the scooter’s handlebar, which, when pulled up, allows drivers to use it as a steering input, brake and throttle. It features a built-in lithium-ion battery that can cover a maximum distance of 37 miles at 12 miles per hour. When it hits the market, the price estimate is between £380 (about $640) and £2,800 (about $4,700), depending on the type of model.

Stay Hydrated with the Timer-equipped Vittel Water Bottle Cap

Vittel-Refresh-Cap

It’s summer, and one of the main concerns for all of us is to stay hydrated, and popular French bottled water brand Vittel has come up with a unique and efficient way for customers to do just that. The company has introduced a water bottle cap with an integrated timer that reminds people every hour to drink water. As an hour passes, a plastic flag pops out from the cap indicating users to drink water and stay cool and healthy. After you’ve had a few sips, the action of screwing the cap back on resets the mechanism and another hour starts ticking down.

Initially released in France as a consumer test, there’s no word on whether the ‘technology’ will make its way stateside anytime soon.

Why Invest in Land When You Can Have Your Own UFO Crash Site Soil?

Roswell-Soil-Sample

Well, of course it’s a little bit ‘out there’, but anyone who is a fan of anything and everything extraterrestrial must own something ‘out of this world’, right? So here’s a chance to buy a genuine, honest-to-God piece of the sky. This season, Amazon is going where no man has gone before, and providing buyers with the opportunity to own their own UFO crash site soil! The 1947 report of a UFO crashing in Corona, New Mexico, is apparently not entirely unsubstantiated. The Roswell Army Air Field press release at the time clearly stated that they believed they had found the “remains of a crashed flying disk.” No wonder the reddish soil comes with a certificate of authenticity from the seller, Image SI Inc. And at $12.95 a bag, the price isn’t that astronomical either. Get it on Amazon!

The World’s Leanest Keychain from TIK

tik-ultra-thin-keychain-12899

Ever had a woman ask you “Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me” and realize that it was that cumbersome, overloaded keychain in your pocket she was referring to? Now you never have to worry about an embarrassing bulge because the TIK keychain is here. It is literally the leanest keychain in the world because creator Daniel Farkas has done away most of the key, leaving the functional parts intact and attached to a link in a bike chain! He claims that it gives “greater leverage for each key in the chain” and expands the “grip surface” so it’s easier to hold. Originally featured on Gizmodo, the product is backed by a Kickstarter campaign, meaning it won’t see the light of day if the campaigners don’t get at least $23,000 worth of pledges for the product. Why not thin down your side profile, prevent those pesky pressure marks on your thighs from the keys you’ve been carrying around all day and invest in a unique product all in one go? It only costs $49 for the pledge, and you’d be doing yourself and everyone else a favor.
