Amazon Daily Deals are a great chance for any tech enthusiast to buy discounted gadgets, electronics and more. Today, we’re taking a look at an All-in-One desktop PC that saves space for productivity addicts, a pair of earphones that make commuting easier and a gamepad that will make your weekends better.

1More Quad-Driver Earphones Make Commuting Enjoyable Again

No matter if you enjoy listening to music, podcasts or audiobooks, having a pair of high-quality earphones is a must today for the commuting community. Chinese audio company 1More, best known in some parts of the world for its partnership with Xiaomi on the Piston series of earphones, has recently launched an impressive product in the form of the Quad-Driver In-Ear headphones.

With three balanced armatures and a titanium dynamic driver, these 1More earphones are able to deliver crystal-clear sound regardless of the genre you enjoy listening.

The earphones have a remote control that’s compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The product connects to smartphones and DAPs via a 3.5mm jacks, but if you happen to own an iPhone 7 or a Xiaomi Mi6, then using these earphones will require an additional adapter.

At $169.99, which is how much these costs today on Amazon Daily Deals, the 1More Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones might not be the first choice of budget-oriented music listeners. However, given the top quality of the components and the attention to detail that the manufacturer has put into these, the 1More Quad-Driver In-Ear headphones will certainly delight audiophiles.

HP ENVY 34-a150 All-in-One Brings Design and Productivity Together

If you’re tired of routing cables between your desktop PC, monitor, and speakers, then an All-in-One desktop might be the best solution for you. However, if your criteria also include a 21:9 aspect ratio and a curved display, it might seem that you don’t have that many options to choose from. HP anticipated this need and created the 34-a150 All-in-One desktop PC which meets the above requirements and more.

HP Envy 34-a150 was launched back in March 2016, which might explain the huge discount available today only on Amazon. That being said, the technical specifications still make it a strong contender for anyone wanting to stay productive while saving space, not to mention that this device still holds the title of the world’s widest curved All-in-One.

With a resolution of 3440×1440, this AIO is great for work, but can also provide an immersive experience while gaming. The 34″ curved display is definitely great for both, and the horsepower is enough for running casual games. After all, the HP 34-a150 is powered by an Intel Skylake i7-6700T quad-core CPU that’s paired with 12GB of DDR4-2133Mhz memory and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960A graphics with 2GB GDDR5 dedicated memory. As for storage, it includes a 1TB hard drive and a 128GB M.2 SSD where the system files are stored.

Intel’s RealSense Full HD camera makes it easy to speak to your friends, family and business contacts over Skype or Google Hangouts. As for connectivity, this AIO sports a Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2×2) and Bluetooth 4.0 M.2 combo.

Ultrawide screens have gained a lot of ground in the past few years, and the r/UltraWideMasterRace sub-Reddit is definitive proof of that. If you’re looking to get into this trend yourself, Amazon sells the HP Envy 34-a150 today only for $1,499, down $500 from the regular price.

Have a Blast While Gaming with the Steam Controller

Valve’s Steam controller currently has nearly 2,400 reviews on Amazon, so there’s no question that this product is popular with gamers out there. This gadget is not exactly new, and went through a lot of revisions, but its popularity with gamers is proof that it’s a well-made product.

With the Steam Controller in hand, you are no longer tied to your office or gaming chair while playing games. Transitioning from a mouse and keyboard to it is incredibly simple and intuitive, so there’s practically no learning curve involved.

Amazon currently sells the Steam Controller with a considerable discount, meaning that you’ll only have to pay $34.99 instead of $49.99. Keep in mind that this is part of Amazon Daily Deals, so don’t waste any time and go buy it! Your gaming experiences will change dramatically with the little gadget, but only for the better.

Say Hello to Jelly, World’s Smallest 4G Smartphone

Jelly - World's Smallest 4G SmartphoneJelly - World's Smallest 4G Smartphone

Unihertz, the maker of Jelly, world’s smallest 4G smartphone is trying to bring back the times when manufacturers weren’t incrementing the size of their devices year by year. Will it succeed, though?

Smartphones have become indispensable pieces of technology, and that also stands in underdeveloped countries. Users who can’t afford buying the latest and the greatest flagships often have to make compromises in terms of hardware or OS. Jelly is here to do away with such compromises, while also taking home the title of the world’s smallest 4G smartphone.

While some of the recent offerings give people trouble fitting them in any pocket, Jelly is happy to call the small pocket of your jeans – home. Read on to find out what else sets Jelly apart from the crowd!

Specifications

At a first glance, Jelly seems to have been created for a female audience, since its design could be characterized as “small and cute.” Despite measuring only 92.3mm x 43mm x 13.3mm, this smartphone is quite capable, being able to please a far wider audience. Not only does it feature a quad-core CPU running at 1.1Ghz, but it also includes gyroscope, compass and GPS sensors, so you can run all sorts of apps. Jelly has two cameras, a 2MP one in the front and an 8MP in the back. As for the display, it measures 2.45-inch across and has a resolution of 240×432 pixels. That’s not extraordinary, but for a backup 4G smartphone, it’s more than just enough.

Two versions of Jelly will be available, the only difference between them being the amount of RAM and storage.

The regular Jelly comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, while Jelly Pro doubles both values. In terms of colors, both versions will be available in Pearl White, Sky Blue and Space Black.

Jelly’s battery manages to surprise, as well. According to the manufacturer, the 950mAh that it packs should be able to keep the smartphone up and running for up to 3 days. The standby time, on the other hand, is of up to 7 days.

These numbers are particularly great if you intend to use Jelly as a lightweight backup phone, and not as your main one. On top of all that, this smartphone has a replaceable battery, something that other manufacturers seem to have forgotten how to do.

Under the battery, Jelly packs three slots – two for nano SIM cards working on 12 different LTE bands, and one for microSD. Given the latter, the device’s storage can be expanded by up to 256GB. Since it most certainly features a 3.5mm jack, that means you’ll be able to take a rather impressive music library with you wherever you go.

One of the most impressive feats is that Jelly will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. That’s something that even established phone makers have a hard time doing. Unihertz claims that it will be capable to run any app, but in all fairness, there are some that demand a screen resolution higher than Jelly’s.

Price and Availability

Jelly is currently featured on Kickstarter, where Unihertz intended to raise $30,000 to bring it into mass production. Given the novelty factor, it really shouldn’t surprise anyone that the campaign raised more than 20 times that amount since it started. In fact, the project reached the funding goal in 57 minutes, and ten times that 48 hours and 3,000+ backers later. According to Kicktraq, if the current average daily pledges stay like that, the campaign is trending towards an amount of $2.6M, which is crazy to think of.

In terms of pricing, Jelly starts at $79 for the Kickstarter Special, while the Jelly Pro is $95. Various packages containing two, three or even ten smartphones can be secured by pledging the respective amounts. People wanting an extra battery will have to pledge $9 more, while an armband and case such as the ones pictured above require an additional pledge of $10. The smartphone can be ordered in any of the three available colors and will be shipped in August 2017. If you’re looking to own Jelly, world’s smallest 4G smartphone, your only worry remains, naturally, not to lose it.

Amazon Launches Echo Look to Improve Everybody’s Style

Amazon Echo LookAmazon Echo Look

The Seattle-based e-tailer has added a new member to its line of smart assistants. Echo Look, as the new product is called, combines information delivered by Alexa with custom recommendations on what to wear.

Before going out, you might want to ask Alexa about what the weather will be like. You might even tell her to turn the light on, to see yourself better in the mirror as you try out various outfits. But what if Alexa would be able to “see” what you’re wearing and suggest changes for a more fashionable outcome? Echo Look’s hands-free camera can help you do just that!

The gadget is advertised as a hands-free camera and style assistant, but it packs so much more.

Presentation

Echo Look is quite different from its other family members, sporting a mostly white body and a black interface. Besides the speaker and microphone array that are also seen in the traditional Echo, the Look also includes a button that switches off the camera and the microphone, a hands-free camera that can take 5 MP head-to-toe photos of you, as well as a standard tripod socket.

There’s a wall mount included in the kit, and that’s where the tripod socket might come in handy. As for the resolution, Echo Look is a bit ahead of the Nest Cam, which only sports a 3-megapixel sensor. Being a security camera, the Nest Cam is also capable of recording footage in the dark. Echo Look serves somewhat of a different purpose, and as such, doesn’t need night-vision.

The hardware is by no means extraordinary, so the main difference in price is determined by Echo Look’s software.

Functionality

Since the main player here is the hands-free camera, it’s rather intuitive that it can work using voice commands addressed to Alexa. The companion app that Amazon developed for the Echo Look is able to analyze your style

Whether the Echo Look will be as popular as the original Echo or will go the way of Amazon’s Fire phone remains to be seen. So far, people’s reactions are mixed, as some look at the device as something that will become indispensable, while others point out ironically that a camera and a mic that are always on are exactly what they wanted in their homes. A verdict can only be given after Amazon releases the device to the masses, which is something nobody knows when and if it’s going to happen.

Will Echo Look blow everyone’s minds with its accurate recommendations, or will it refuse to open the pod bay doors? It remains to be seen.

See What Matters with Echo Look’s Computer Vision-Based Background Blur

Is your room a bit of a mess, but could still use some advice from Alexa? Echo Look employs computer vision-based background blur so that only you are clearly visible, front and center.

To shoot photos or record videos of your outfit, you only need to say “Alexa, take a picture” or “Alexa, take a video.”

Compare Different Outfits with Style Check

Echo Look doesn’t only assist you with recommendations and recordings of your various outfits. It can also help you compare them.

Style Check, as this feature is called, relies on advanced machine learning algorithms and advice from fashion specialists to determine which outfit suits you best. The parameters taken into account include fit, color, styling, and current trends. In other words, a comparison can be made even if you only change your shoes. Your feedback, along with continuous input from fashion experts will help Style Check to become better and better over time.

Price and Purchasing Options

At the moment, Amazon’s Echo Look is available exclusively by invitation and costs $199. The product page features a “Request Invitation” button. Upon pressing it, you’re told that confirmation will arrive via email if selected.

This model was also used on the full-fledged Amazon Echo, the mini Echo Dot, and the battery-powered Amazon Tap. However, only for the first two, there was an overwhelming demand. If Echo Look is received positively by the first lucky buyers, there’s no doubt that the e-tailer will make purchasing possible for the public.
