Deal Of The Day: 31% Off On ChargeTech Portable Power Outlet

redesign_ChargeAllREBRAND-MF1-2USB

Have you ever tried charging your MacBook Air with an external battery? Yeah, it doesn’t work, because you can’t charge the thing through USB. So that’s why we’re intrigued by the ChargeTech Portable Power Outlet, which features a full AC outlet as well as a USB port for charging. That’s 12,000 mAh in a format that’s technically small enough to carry in your pockets. It’ll charge anything that requires less than 65W, and can power two devices simultaneously. Normally you’d pay $270 for this, but it’s $185 after today’s rebate.

Deal Of The Day: 50% Off On ZeroLemon SolarJuice 20000mAh Battery

redesign_1699_ZeroLemonBattery_MF1

External batteries just keep getting more interesting. The ZeroLemon Solarjuice 20,000mAh Battery comes as loaded with features as anything we’ve seen recently. More so, actually. Not only does it provide you with 20,000mAh in charging capacity through two USB ports, at 2.1A and 1A of output (that’s a lot, by the way), it also recharges itself through a 1.2W monocrystalline solar panel. So think about the usage scenario. You go out in the woods, camping, and you get to charge your electronics away from the grid. Then you leave your battery pack charging itself in the sun for the day, only to come back in the evening and be able to do it all over again. It’s brilliant, and more importantly, it’s also cheap. The ZeroLemon SolarJuice is $49.99 instead of the regular $100!

Deal Of The Day: 31% Off On ChargeAll Portable Power Outlet (12000mAh)

There are many external batteries on the market, but we’ve seen very few that come with an AC plug. Matter of fact this is the first one we see with one, and that’s great because there’s a number of things you can’t charge through USB alone. Your MacBook Air for instance, requires an AC plug. With the ChargeAll Portable Power Outlet, you can really charge anything, even two items at once. There’s only 12,000mAh, which isn’t really as much as some of its competitors, but that AC outlet really makes a difference. Normally $270, today it’s $185.

The outputs are rated at 1A and 2.1A which means you won’t have to wait an eternity for your stuff to charge. A digital display even gives you the current level of charge, so you can remember to top up your battery pack. And yes, it’s $35, down from its regular $85.

Exogear’s Exovolt Plus ‘stackable’ battery pack claims to be the first of its kind

Exogear's Exovolt Plus 'stackable' battery pack claims to be the first of its kind

We've seen (and tested) a fair share of interesting power packs during our time, and Exogear's hoping to make a mark of its own in this very juicy department with what the outfit's calling "the world's first" stackable battery pack. The newly minted Exovolt Plus consists of a main 5,200 mAh kit, which can then be paired -- or, in this particular case, stacked -- alongside a "Sub Battery" unit to create the ultimate portable charging station. One thing worth noting, though, is that each extra stack will be sold separately for nearly $50, while the essential Exovolt Plus is set to run at about $90 minus some change. Given its universal capabilities (30-pin, USB and micro-USB), something tells us the Exovolt Plus won't have trouble landing any suitors despite its somewhat hefty price tag. Still, you'll have to wait a little while before you can snag one of these, as it's currently listed as "coming soon," and its creator's yet to reveal when we can expect it to go on sale.
