PNY Unveils A New Line Of Enterprise SSDs

PNY has recently unveiled a new line of enterprise SSDs namely the EP7011. Coming in 80GB, 240GB and 480GB sizes, these slim 2.5-inch SSDs (7mm thick) are configured with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, Seagate’s SandForce SF2581 controller, SMART support, DuraWrite technology support, Enhanced ECC function and an MTBF of 2 million hours.

Optimized for read-intensive enterprise storage solutions, the EP7011 SSDs promise to deliver read/write speeds of up to 525/460 MB/s (80GB model), 525/490 MB/s (240GB model) and 535/490 MB/s (480GB model), respectively. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Product Page]

Kingston SSDNow KC400 Enterprise SSDs Announced

Here we have a new line of enterprise SSDs from Kingston, the SSDNow KC400. Available in four different storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, these slim 2.5-inch SSDs (7mm thick) are built with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a quad-core, 8-channel Phison PS3110-S10 controller, SmartECC & SmartRefresh functions and an MTBF of 1 million hours.

In terms of performance, the SSDNow KC400 can deliver read/write speeds of up 550/450 MB/s (128GB model), 550/540 MB/s (256GB model) and 550/530 MB/s (512GB and 1TB models), respectively. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Product Page]

Designed specifically for data center storage platforms, these high-endurance SSDs (120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 800GB capacities in 1.8-inch or 2.5-inch form factor) are equipped with 20nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and can deliver read/write speeds of up to 425/200 MB/s (120GB), 425/330 MB/s (240GB) and 425/375 MB/s (480GB & 800GB), respectively. Coming in 100GB, 200GB, 400GB and 800GB capacities, these high performance 2.5-inch SSDs are packed with 19nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a MTBF of 2.5 million hours and can deliver read and write speeds of up to 450MB/s and 400MB/s, respectively. Available in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB sizes, these 2.5-inch SSDs are equipped with 19nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a MTBF of 2.0 million hours and can deliver read/write speeds of up to 500/280 MB/s (120GB Model) and 500/400 MB/s (240GB & 480GB Models), respectively.
