Netac hits back with a new line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs, the N560S. Available in two different storage capacities: 240GB and 480GB, these slim 2.5-inch SSDs (7mm thick) are built with TLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a SiliconMotion ‘SM2256’ controller and TRIM support.

Not only that, these noise-free and shockproof SSDs also come with NANDXtend Error Correction function – improve SSD durability, Wear Leveling Algorithm function – extended the SSD life circle and SLC Caching Algorithm function – improve the data read and write performance.

Performance-wise, the N560S SSDs promise to deliver read/write speeds of up to 536/472 MB/s (240GB model) and 537/481 MB/s (480GB model), respectively. The Netac N560S SSDs will start shipping from July 16th, prices unannounced yet. [Product Page]

Netac Launches Z2 USB 3.0 Portable SSDs

Here we have a new line of USB 3.0 portable SSDs from Netac, the Z2. Coming in three different storage capacities including 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, these compact SSDs (Black & Rose Gold color options) are equipped with a durable aluminum enclosure, MLC NAND Flash memory chips, and a micro-USB 3.0 connection interface.

Corresponding to UASP, the Z2 SSDs support for Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 or above and Mac OS X 10.5 or above operating systems, and promise to deliver read and write speeds of up to 420MB/s and 370MB/s, respectively.

Measuring 67.4mm x 67.4mm x 9.8mm and weighing 49.6 grams, the Netac Z2 SSDs are available now for around $81 (128GB model), $122 (256GB model) and $228 (512GB model), respectively. [Product Page]
