Amazon brings Send to Kindle to Firefox, for all of that reading you're gonna get to later

Not that the world was lacking in ways to send content to its Kindle devices and apps, but if you still happened to feel unfulfilled on that front, Amazon's added Firefox to the list. The Mozilla-crafted browser is getting an extension that'll let users share blog posts, news articles and the like to various members of the Kindle family. Select the page or text, click the button and go -- well, once you've finished downloading the extension from the source link below, that is.

Send to Kindle comes to Chrome, Safari and Mozilla support promised 'soon'

Between clients for the PC and Mac and functionality on mobile devices, Amazon's got no shortage of methods for helping users get content onto their Kindles. Just in case you still weren't happy with the available options, however, the mega-retailer has extended the list to include a Send-to-Kindle Chrome extension that lets users send posts, stories and various other content to their e-readers. The extension lets users preview content and limited it to selected text, as well. Amazon's also promising similar functionality for Firefox and Safari "soon." Send to Kindle arrives on Macs

Sure, it may be Barnes & Noble's big day, but Amazon couldn't help but offer up some news of its own. The mega-retailer announced today that its Send to Kindle service is hitting the Mac, letting Apple users send documents and compatible apps from their desktop to their Kindle with a drag and a drop.
