The smartflower is a rather literal take on biomimicry, creating a flower shaped solar panel array that blossoms in daytime, follows the sun to gather as much light, and then folds inwards post sunset. And a nifty little feature allows the smartflower to clean itself every time it opens and closes. So you literally have to do nothing but sit back and reap the benefits of solar power.
