If you’ve played Super Mario (and we’re assuming if you’re reading a gadget blog here you probably have? or you’ve at least heard of Super Mario? You live somewhere on Earth, right? Ok, just checking) then you surely are familiar with the adorably deadly little bombs with eyes, feet, arms sometimes, and a wind-up key on the back to let you know he means business. We’re talking Bob-omb. Yeah the name is as cute as the character. So is the Bob-omb Tissue Holder.

But you know what’s not cute? Germs flying everywhere. So grab a tissue out of Bob-omb’s plush little head and cover your nose. It’s flu season, and the only thing more dangerous than a flu virus being expelled out of your body at 100 mph (actual sneeze fact alert!) is a little wind-up cartoon bomb that holds tissues.

I want to believe. I’m loving this Alien Autopsy Tissue Box. The tissues come right out of his chest. So it’s more of an alien disembowelment than an autopsy, but who cares. You can even hang him on the wall by raising his hands over his head. It’s available this Japanese store called Village Vanguard for about $25 each. (via inventorspot)

Believe it or not, this is actually the 2nd Big Bang Theory tissue box cover we’ve featured. But unlike the previous Rubik’s Cube tissue box cover that’s only featured on the set of the show, this one actually depicts those lovable geeks from the show. Bazinga! Bless you, here’s a tissue.

The cover is handmade using plastic canvas. The crafter used a cartoon-like image from the Internet, pixelized it with image editing software, then used that as a pattern to cross-stitch the box. Easy enough (I guess?) Who doesn’t love themselves a cross-stitched Sheldon Cooper? So dreamy. (via craftster)

Hey fans of The Big Bang Theory (the TV show but we’ll extend the shoutout to fans of the scientific theory too- hey), now you can own the Rubik’s Cube Tissue Box Cover Rubiks Cube Tissue Box Cover (from Big Bang Theory) as seen in Sheldon’s and Leonard’s apartment on the sitcom.

These are hand needlepoint stitched (and if you missed the giant flag on the pictures) right here in the good ol’ USA and come in your choice of unsolved or solved. It takes 3000 stitches to make the box and if you’re handy enough with the needle and yarn, you can buy a kit with patterns and yarn to stitch it yourself (same link as above) instead of the completed box cover.
