A Lean, Mean Commuting Machine

Who knew a little bike thing could look so… well… MEAN! Even though it looks like it’s about to break the sound barrier, the AK-1 is an automatic folding electric bike designed for the last mile. Actually, 22 miles on a single charge to be exact. Inspired by triangles, it features a sharp edge on just about every corner. With a top speed of 20 miles an hour, riders will appreciate every inch of aerodynamics.

What’s more interesting however, is a unique one-key-to-fold system that automatically breaks down the bike when the user is finished riding it. Simply insert the key and dual actuators will instantly fold and unfold the bike so you can concentrate on your commute.
