This is a collection of photos from makeup artist Laura Jenkinson. As you can see she’s transformed her lips into all kinds of iconic cartoon characters. Lookin’ good, Laura! Those are the most expressive smackers I have ever seen. And believe me, I have seen some expressive lips in my day no idea what that […] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
Sometimes the fans have the best ideas. Like this Flintstones Lego set that one Lego fanatic posted on the LEGO Ideas Site. They don’t make an official set, so he made his own set! Why don’t The Flintstones have their own Lego set yet? Because this little piece of Bedrock would be really awesome to have. First off you have the iconic human-powered car:
Then you’ve got Fred and Wilma’s house, they truly are a modern Stone Age family. Or at least they would be if there was a real Lego set made for them, like the Simpsons.
And of course what set would be complete without minifigs? There are custom designed minifigs for all your favorite cartoon characters- Fred, Wilma, Barney and Betty Rubble. Well maybe not all- no Pebbles, Bam Bam, Dino, or Mr. Slate?
Well done, great details on the mini-figs. This video has an interview with the creator of the set as well as showing all the pieces in more detail:
My message to the Lego people: why don’t you Yabba Dabba Doo this set for real?
Artist Dan LuVisi brings us this series of cartoon characters as evil, murderous, terrifying baddies. It’s cool Dan, I didn’t want to sleep ever again, anyway. I’ll sleep when I’m dead! Just… hopefully I won’t be dead at the hands of a psychotic Cookie Monster. That is NOT how I wanna go. I’d prefer plummeting […] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
To celebrate the release of the LEGO Simpsons sets, the next episode of the show is LEGO themed. This is the trailer for that. Watch it! Or don’t — I’m not the boss of you. To be honest, I’m not the boss of anything, but when my mom’s not home, I order the cats around. […] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
First artist Isaiah Stephens brought us Disney Princesses dressed in Halloween costumes, then he brought us the same for Disney dudes. Now he’s back with an all new concept — popular cartoon characters all grown up! We’ve seen another artist tackle this type thing in the past, but some of you got pretty bent out of […] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
Scientifically Accurate is a series showing a sordid, but more realistic view of our favorite childhood cartoon shows. The mini-vids are done by Animation Domination over at Fox and I don’t know how to feel anymore. They cover such faves as Spongebob Squarepants, DuckTales, TMNT, Thundercats, and more! Depending on how easily the innocence of your […] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
Badass Fanarts is a series of illustrations by deviantARTist Tohad. It features our favorite cartoon characters from childhood turned into total badasses. She’s got The Powerpuff Girls acting all creepy, Zelda getting a kinky, Yoshi taking on a more fatherly role, and hot dayum! Mega Man be looking GOOD. There’s more, but after seeing Mega […] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
Etsy artist Christopher Genovese is selling this belt buckle with KRAAAAANG’s big ole goopy mug slapped on it. If there’s one fugly ass villain’s face you should attach to your waist it’s Skeletor. But Krang is definitely a close second. One of these babies will set you back $218. Me, it’s not gonna set me [...] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
What if today’s pop stars had their own cartoon shows? I don’t know, but I’d definitely watch. Cartoons are like my thing. Right up there with getting high, Taco Bell, and sleeping. Illustrators Caldwell Tanner and Nathan Yaffe drew up what they imagine what cartoons would be like if they featured today’s pop stars. They [...] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
Everyone poops. It took an Japanese man to tell the Western world that. But what will a Korean character who wears a doo-doo hat on his head tell us? I have no idea but I’m barely comfortable with the first concept. Dongchimee is a character from a South Korean cartoon called Dalki (it’s kind of [...] Visit IncredibleThings.com for the full post.
