If you’ve ever worked a dangerous job, you know just how easy it is to get comfortable and forget the very gear that keeps you in shape to make it to work! Still, safety equipment exists for a reason. The Seton safety system exists to ensure you are always equipped!

The wearable sensor and tablet work together to aid in the distribution of appropriate gear on the floor. The device is detected when an operator gets close to the screen at which point they are asked if and what equipment they need to do the job at hand. Working closely with management to ensure adherence to safety precautions, a distributor can then efficiently provide, track and organize the return of gear.

Even when safety gear is being used consistently and properly, accidents can still occur. In emergency situations, the wearable sensor also doubles as an easy-access trigger to alert medical professionals.

Water Filtering for Dummies

The energy required for pumping, bottling, and transporting bottled water is nearly 1000 times higher than tap water! So why do we insist on continuing to use bottles (especially when we know where that material waste ends up)? The simple answer is… because we want the best taste.

The OE Filtering Carafe improves taste and quality using a filtering system that won’t let you forget to change it on time. The mechanical dial located directly on top of the unit acts as a sort of timer, driven by the flow of water pouring out. The dial will signal when it’s best to swap the filter based on the amount of water that has passed and not just the amount time it’s been used. Better yet, the filter chip itself can be replaced without throwing away a big bulky piece of plastic each time!
