Disney Princesses as League of Legends characters: LoL indeed

Disney Ariel LoL

See what Disney princesses have to say when they’ve had enough of “cute” things and get their game on with the almightily popular League of Legends.

A digital artist known as Elasar Reem, who goes by Dreeners at DeviantArt has created a series of fan art pictures, reimagining some of the most well-known leading ladies in Disney movies as badass League of Legends (LoL) characters.

This series works particularly well as the author based her creations on both color gamma and likeness to give life to these LoL variants. Bows, guns and swords round out each one of the princesses exquisitely crafted outfits, and some of them are truly the work of genius. We’d like to watch a movie starring all of these characters in these outfits… Anyways, enjoy the pictures in this story, for our words could not do them justice..

The only ones we had some trouble telling who they were originally supposed to be are Helen & Violet (Pixar’s The Incredibles) and Tarzan’s Jane. How about you?

12 Disney Princesses as Raptors From Jurassic World

Snow White

Disney princesses are always hot, as in trendy. Velociraptors and Jurassic Park? Nothing’s hotter right now. Combine the two together? Why the hell not?!

Artist Laura Cooper decided that after watching Jurassic World (which is the first movie with two weekends of more than $100 million at the box office) came up with the idea, thinking how cool the dinosaurs were which led her to thinking that Ariel, Mulan and Tiana need some sort of reptilian makeover.

Hat tip:

This isn’t the first great idea about giving Disney Princesses an alternative look. There’s this one, giving them a more accurate look considering the period in which the characters first appeared, and there’s also this fantastic idea of giving them an Indian wedding remodeling.

9 Disney Princesses Reimagined as Indian Brides

Snow White Indian

The most popular theme in Internet alternative fan art is taking Disney Princesses and giving them some new, unique look. Weddings aren’t excluded from this trend, but giving it an Indian twist is still something new and original.

Amrit Grewal who took the photographs for this project wanted to demonstrate how Disney can inspire multiple ethnicities’ aesthetics.

This was done together with Jasmine Nijjar, who worked as the Marketing Manager for Wellgroomed Designs, an Indian couture bridal gallery. Jasmine built a theme that used each Disney princess movie as the inspiration all while integrating traditional Indian bridal wear.

6 Disney Princesses as Bad-Ass Warriors

Snow White

While Disney Princesses, especially the more “classic” ones aren’t always the most aggressive types, there’s nothing wrong with making them go through a makeover and come out as kick-ass Warrior chicks.

Ariel

That neck thing looks really uncomfortable, but overall she looks pretty much like someone Namor or Aquaman would get along pretty well with.

Belle

Very medieval style. Kind of reminds me of Syrio Forel and what a water dancer from Braavos would look like, if girls were water dancers as well (are they?). Maybe Arya will turn into something like this one day.

Cinderella

CInderella gets the cyborg treatment or as the artist referred to her: an android housekeeper. That cannon for an arm makes her look like Megatron, the one from the G1 TV series and not the Live-Action Transformer films.

Pochahontas

Unlike the others, she’s not all that different in look from the non-warrior version of her. She doesn’t have a sword, but she does have blood on the orb at the end of her stick.

Sleeping Beauty (Aurora)

All I have to say is that she has one truly bad ass staff, but I’m not really sure who or what she reminds me of.

Snow White

Over the last two-three years there have been plenty of more combative versions of Snow White coming out: The “Twilight” one, the Terrible one and the one on TV.

The artist is Sadyna, which you can view her gallery here.
