It’s probably happened to you. You’re walking along with a briefcase or other bag and realize that it’s getting too heavy. You wish that you had taken a backpack. That’s the basic idea behind the Dror Backpack from Tumi. This expandable and transformable backpack will give you the best of all bag worlds – for a price.
The Tumi Dror Backpack was designed by New York based architect Dror Benshetrit. It can function as a tote, briefcase or backpack. It’s got loads of pockets, zips, both interior and exterior to help you manage your gear. It will carry laptops up to 15″ and comes with a media pocket. The front pocket has a slight angular profile, which is cool.
As you can see from the images, the Dror Backpack is quite flexible, but this transformable ability doesn’t come cheap. You’ll have to spend $595(USD) to buy one – and for that price you could buy several individual bags.
