Draw Attention to Your Clothing

You can tell a lot about a person from the clothes they wear; clothing is an incredibly powerful method of expression, and for this reason, to a lot of people, their clothing is far more than a shield from external factors and the elements. And where better for these items of clothing to get stored than a sleek, attention-grabbing ‘Clothes Refresher’!

Spot Light is a stunningly designed product that highlights the clothing stored within it; unlike regular storage units and refreshers, that conceal the clothing behind opaque walls, Spot Light uses a combination of translucent walls and lights hidden within the four poles, to emphasize the items within!

Everything from the distinct hanger that compliments the high-end aesthetic, through to the monochromatic color scheme that creates a sense of professionalism, comes together to create a product that makes your clothes look wonderfully luxurious. And furthermore, the modular design adds flexibility, so it can cater to the needs of the suave user.

This Television Rocks!

arte_tv_layout

Over the last decade or so televisions have become seemingly-less deigned; all that’s appeared to have changed is their depth due to the advancing technology, and the only thing distinguishing between the many brands is the logo on the front.

Designed to get the user more involved by removing all unwanted elements, ARTE sets out to break the mould of TV design. The conventional television stand has been replaced with a large stone that is positioned off-centre, this adds an interesting element of suspense to the design. Hidden within the stone is an acoustic lens to ensure a superior listening experience for the user and this further engages them.

With such a unique and distinct design ARTE is more than just a television, it’s a piece of art; its able to draw just as much attention when the television is off than when it is on!

The stone which supports the frame of the TV set is the center of gravity, and also the speaker of the TV. The sound that spreads in all directions through the Acoustic Lens on the bottom lets the user hear superior sound wherever he/she is.

Get Your Chill On

airtree

It has been a hot summer where I am located and the cost of cooling my home has been extremely high. Running that central air conditioning can totally drain your bank account if you’re not careful. Running the ceiling fan or a desk fan, helps a wee bit, but they don’t really work with cooling down the place – at all.

Euikyun Koh, a designer from Seoul, Korea might just have a solution to my draining bank account. It’s called Air-tree. This very modern and minimalistic air conditioning system, will spread cold air 360 degrees throughout the home.

Air-tree has two settings that are controlled by the remote control that can attach to the body of the Air-Tree. The two modes are cooling all around the home or a more focused cooling for one person. The wooden top raises and lowers to control the wind speed of the air being released. And when not in use, and the top is down, it can totally double as a table – it looks that good to be used year round.

When focused cooling is needed, you simply remove the remote control and take it with you. Air-tree will turn and only send winds to that direction.
