Just like the 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 3TB variants, the 4TB variant also comes with a USB 3.0 connection interface (w/ maximum 5GB/s transfer speeds), NTFS format and built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption with password protection.

In addition, it comes with WD automatic backup software with Dropbox integration and Auto-Unlock Option – you can set WD Security to automatically unlock the drive when you are working on a known computer.
