Netac Launches Z2 USB 3.0 Portable SSDs

Here we have a new line of USB 3.0 portable SSDs from Netac, the Z2. Coming in three different storage capacities including 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, these compact SSDs (Black & Rose Gold color options) are equipped with a durable aluminum enclosure, MLC NAND Flash memory chips, and a micro-USB 3.0 connection interface.

Corresponding to UASP, the Z2 SSDs support for Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 or above and Mac OS X 10.5 or above operating systems, and promise to deliver read and write speeds of up to 420MB/s and 370MB/s, respectively.

Coming in three different storage capacities including 120GB, 240GB and 480GB, these shockproof and vibration proof SSDs feature a USB 3.0 connection interface (USB 2.0 backward compatible) and come with SanDisk SecureAccess software that provides 128-bit AES file encryption and password protection.

Supporting Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista and Mac OS 10.6 or later operating systems, the Extreme 500 portable SSDs can deliver read/write speeds of up to 415/340 MB/s (120GB & 240GB models) and 430/400 MB/s (480GB model), respectively.

Compatible with a range of USB supported devices, including the latest Android smartphones and tablets, and computers with Windows or Mac OS, the T3 portable SSDs promise to deliver a transfer speed of up to 450MB/s.
