The outfit has unveiled its WiFi Booster for Mobile that pairs up with your home or office router to increase network reach for smartphones, tablets, laptops and other mobile gadgets. Touting universal compatibility with your existing 2.4GHz wireless equipment, the add-on uses a strategically selected outlet in order to flex its muscle boosting 802.11 b/g/n signals. Once you've plugged the unit, a WPS connection is merely a button push away. Netgear didn't offer any details on what kind of range increase you can expect. However, you'll be able to pick one up sometime this summer for $40 if you could use the help.
