An Artistic Eco-Twist on the Hanger

Victor Puzur’s “Trempel” clothes hanger transforms ordinary industrial cardboard tubing into elegant space-saving hangers that perfectly support the shoulders of your shirts, jackets and sweaters as well as accessories like scarves and belts. Each is created by cutting the cardboard tubing at an angle and inserting a pop-rivert with a standard hook. The sculptural result is recycled, reusable art for your closet!

The Inflatable Hanger

Not as crazy as it sounds! There have been plenty of proposed solutions for replacing the wire clothes hanger, and like the others, the Tango hanger focuses on saving the neckline of shirts… but in an entirely innovative and unique way! The design focuses on the use of a tube and pump system. Place the deflated tube into the shirt and squeeze the pump at the top to start inflating. When you’re ready to wear a shirt, simply release the air and take the shirt!

The Neck Saver – Part Deux

About a year ago, we featured Rob Bye’s Stretchless Hanger, and now he’s back with version 2.0! Like the original, the design aims to speed up the process of hanging clothes without damaging or stretching the material. But after taking your feedback into consideration, the new and improved version is more rigid, structurally sound, and just as easy to use. Which one do you like better?!

Literally Twisted Hanger

Mobe, inspired by the mobius strip, is an accessories hanger thoughtfully crafted to be simple, elegant, and highly functional. Though its shape is more complex than the average hanger, its ideal for scarves, ties, and belts. Made from a twisted strip of thin 1.5mm plywood, the design also uses a minimal amount of material.

A Twist on the Hanger

Composed of just two materials, the Bancon hanger features soft padded foam that protects fabric and a wooden, river stone-shaped insert that gives the hanger contour. While it’s larger than your average hanger, the wide form keeps clothes in shape, wrinkle-free, and prevents that annoying shoulder-bump from metal and plastic hangers.

Oh Snap!

I love a good hanger design, and here’s one that makes it possible to hang your clothes in a snap! The Snap Hanger consists of two units that fasten together at a single joint to function like scissors, making it possible to quickly and easily slip into narrow-necked shirts without stretching. Hangers can also be combined vertically to save space or taken apart and nested to take on the road.
