Since you probably don’t want to use your actual iPad as a cutting board (using it as a plate is a different story) you can use a real glass cutting board that looks like an iPad. The iHost Glass Cutting Board is a cutting board/serving platter made of glass and has all your favorite “apps” renamed with funny food-related names. Of course the only apps you really need are cheese and cracker appetizers, right? Measures 7 ¾” x 10 ¾” x ¼”.

Shower Curtain with Speakers and iPad Pocket
Play music right from your shower curtain with the iPad Musical Shower Curtain. This shower curtain not only has a set of built-in speakers, it also has a waterproof pocket for your iPad (you could also obviously put in any smaller device too like a phone). The pocket zips up from the outside of the shower and you plug in the audio cable to connect to the speakers. Inside the shower, the iPad pocket is made of a touch-enabled material, so you can use your iPad in the shower! No place is safe from technology.
The outside of the curtain is pretty nice looking- neutral color and pattern to go with most modern bathrooms. The curtain rings are integrated into the shower, so no need to buy separate rings. Take all your calls, check email, surf the web- you might never leave the shower.
Amazing Paper Sleeves for iPads
It’s a modern take on retro-futurism with these Amazing Paper Sleeves. These cardboard sleeves protect your iPad, Kindle, or iPad mini while adding a splash of color. Reminiscent of 1940′s science fiction pulp art, it just looks like you’re reading an old comic book and not watching sports highlights on your iPad.
There are three different designs to choose from, starting at around $24.
Pocket Sized iPad/iPhone Projector
Turn your iPad or iPhone into a projector anywhere you go with the iPad Pocket Projector. A free app lets you project a 6″ to 60″ diagonal image onto surfaces 8″-78″ away with a 35 lumen LED. Project anything- YouTube videos, your web browser and surfing sessions, and more. This is the only pocket-sized projector we could find that plugs right into your 30 pin charging port. No wires, no cables, no mess, just plug it right into your device:
An internal lithium polymer battery gives you 2 hours of projection via charge. It recharges via USB cable and can also serve as a backup battery for your phone! This projector is small enough to take with you, measuring a scant 3″ x 2″ x 1″ and weighing only 4.5 oz. Great for business or personal use- now bring on the vacation slides!
iPad Holding Toilet Paper Stand
Holds the two most important things you need when you’re going to the bathroom! The iPad Commode Caddy lets you take care of business while you take care of your business. This chromed steel stand holds a roll of toilet paper (shown dispensing tp in the incorrect “from the bottom” method- argh!) on the bottom and an iPad on top with a 10″ flexible gooseneck to adjust it to the optimal reading position. Say goodbye to the magazine basket and hello to the digital age.
Flazbag Monster iPad Stands
Here’s a super fun iPad stand from German based Flazbag. Love the protruding jaw upon which your tablet can rest- it’s very Where the Wild Things Are-esque. It has some sort of synthetic ball filling to keep it malleable yet firm. Check out the action shot:
They have other non-monster designs- floral and patterns and such. The handmade Flazbag is designed to rest on the floor, bed, couch, or even your stomach. Maybe even your head if you’re in the circus. They sell for about $50, depending on current exchange rates.
ShirtPax: The Shirt with the Tablet Pocket
You love taking your iPad or other tablet everywhere but your name is not Shaquille O’Neal so you have normal size pants pockets. What do you do? If you’re Marc Wilson you come up with the ShirtPax, a shirt with a zip-up pocket in the small of the back to hold a tablet. Your iPad has got your back- literally. Now your hands are free and your iPad is securely with you. No need to bring a shoulder bag or leave it in the car.
It’s similar to shirts they make for cyclists, except specifically designed for tablets and you don’t need to wear spandex shorts with it (although you certainly could, fashionista). The white shirts are made from a high performance polyester-spandex blend that wicks away moisture and cost $35 each.
Go Go Pillow
It’s the pillow that does everything- if by everything you mean a few things. Confused? Just relax your head on the Go Go Pillow and think about it. This soft pillow can hold your iPad safely. Stretchy straps on the back let you mount it on the back of a car’s head rest for backseat viewing. Take out your iPad and you’ve got a comfortable pillow or even a neck rest. If you’re nice enough it might even do your laundry.
iPad Lap Desk
Use your iPad in bed! Oh wait, you probably already do that. Use your iPad and eat in bed! That’s better. This iPad Lap Desk holds your iPad upright along with whatever dishes you’d like. Breakfast and the (online) newspaper in bed. Also works in chairs and on couches- just saying. Cushioned bottom conforms to your legs and a non-slip top keeps things in place. Would you like some photoshopped butter on that photoshopped bagel?
iPhone Charging Cord Stickers
What a fun way to keep better track of your cords. Stop confusing and losing your white Apple cords with the iPhone Charger Sticker Faces Set. Designed by Sativa Turner, just stick these vinyl labels on your various iPhone/iPod/iPad cord and you’ll know which is which instantly. And more whimsically. Look at those tongues- aaaaahhhhaahaha. They also come in solid color versions too:
What’s cool is that if you have multiple types of cords, like say an iPad and an iPhone 5, you can figure out which cord it is from either end- even the otherwise identical USB side! Each pack comes with 4 sets of precision die-cut labels, one label in each color for both ends of your USB cords, the wall adapter and your earphones. You can even mix and match. Made in the USA.
