Plextor has unveiled a new line of SSDs, the M7V. Coming in three different storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, these slim 2.5-inch SSDs (6.8mm thick) are built with Toshiba 15nm TLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a Marvell 88SS1074B1 controller, TRIM support, SMART support, NCQ support, built-in ECC function and an MTBF of 1.5 million hours.
In terms of performance, the M7V SSDs promise to deliver read/write speeds of up to 560/500 MB/s (128GB model), 560/530 MB/s (256GB model) and 560/530 MB/s (512GB model), respectively. The Plextor M7V is scheduled to hit the market this month, prices unannounced yet. [Product Page]
