Winnie the Pooh Funko POP! Figures Will Eat Your Honey

Back in the ’80s I would wake up early each Saturday to watch cartoons. I can remember the very first cartoon that came on each morning was Winnie the Pooh. I didn’t like it, but my brother was really into the Pooh, though so i’d sing the song “Winnie the Poot” and then make farting noises just to mess with him. If you are into Winnie the Pooh, Disney, or Funko POP!, here’s a new set of vinyl figures you might want to collect.

You can get big-headed versions of Heffalump, Winnie, Eeyore, Piglet, Roo, and Wozzle. Tigger and Christopher Robbins are both missing as is that dickish Owl, though I bet those are coming at some point down the road.

I don’t even remember Woozle from the show, he looks sort of like a zombie Roo. Entertainment Earth has them on pre-order for $10.99(USD) each with shipping starting in February 2017.

Stranger Things Pop! Vinyl Figures Include Eleven with Eggos

I think Stranger Things is the best show that Netflix has ever made and I hope season two is much longer than season one. If you’re a big fan Funko Pop! Vinyl figures of the main cast are now available. All of the kids are here, including Dustin, Mike, Lucas, and Will.

You can get two Eleven figures with one bald with a bloody nose, and the other has blonde hair. You don’t get to choose which you get, though. It appears that the one with hair is the rare limited-edition version. At least both come with Eggos.

Of course, you can get Barb, though she’s not wearing mom jeans.

You can get the Demogorgon with its creepy face petals open or closed to devour your soul. Again you don’t get to choose, and the closed version is the limited edition.

Each of the characters will cost $10.99(USD) and they will be available in April 2017. You can pre-order them all at Entertainment Earth now. It’s too bad you can’t choose which of the Eleven or Demogorgon characters you get. Most of us will want both, but that’s the nature of the beast.

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure Funko POP! Action Figures: No WAY! WAY!

Back in the day I thought that Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure was a hilarious movie. It was actually the first time I had ever seen Keanu Reeves in a movie. I’m not sure what Bill (Alex Winter) did afterwards, but Reeves went on to be in some of my favorite films of all times like  The Matrix, Point Break, and John Wick. Now I can finally get some Bill & Ted figures for my desk too.

Both of the bubble-headed lead characters are now available as Funko POP! collectibles. Ted is even playing the air guitar. Sadly, there’s no figure of a time traveling George Carlin, but you never know if they’ll add him later.

These POP! Action figures will be available in January 2017. You can pre-order them for $10.99(USD) each right now via Entertainment Earth.

Funko POP! NHL Players Will Knock Out Your Other Figures’ Teeth

I don’t know much about hockey. I only recently moved to a cold weather state where hockey is a big deal. In my former home of Texas, it isn’t. Pretty much all I’ve seen of the game are highlights, and I assume that the sport is about fistfights more than anything. I see it as sort of like a poor man’s UFC fight on ice skates. But if you’re a fan of the game, you might want to buy your favorite NHL hockey player in Funko Pop form.

These little characters have the players in what I assume to be home and away uniforms complete with tiny little sticks and pucks. The goalies are wearing their pads but have no helmets on their heads, which means you can see their faces – at least right up until they take a miniature puck in the face.

The figures will be available this November.

Strawberry Shortcake Scented Pop! Figures: Gee, Your Funko Smells Terrific!

Years ago, when my daughter was really young she ended up with a Strawberry Shortcake plastic figure out of one of those kid’s meals. She went bonkers when she realized it smelled like strawberries. Later, she lost it, and couldn’t get another, leading to lots of tears. If you too have a hankering for a tasty smelling Strawberry Shortcake collectible figure, Funko has has you covered.

Starting this September, you can get scented versions of Strawberry Shortcake and her pal custard, Lemon Meringue, Blueberry Muffin, or Orange Blossom characters. Each has their own little pet, and each of them smells like their names.

The little Pop! figures can be pre-ordered from Entertainment Earth for $10.99(USD) each. These are the first Funko action figures that I have seen that smell like anything other than plastic.

Get 15% Off a 3-Month Subscription to Loot Crate

Walyou Deals - Loot Crate - 3 Month Subscription 01

There are plenty of subscription boxes out there, with some of them including everything from shaving products to snacks, but none of them appeals to geeks as much as Loot Crate does. Walyou Deals brings you a 15% discount on a 3-month subscription to Loot Crate, something you shouldn’t miss if you are a mystery-loving geek.

You might think that the Loot Crate boxes feature toys and shirts whose designs are inspired from superhero movies, but they include so much more than that. Lots of topics are covered from sci-fi movies from the ’80s to modern games and unforgettable TV shows. The common denominator of all of the included products is that they could cause any geek’s heart to skip a bit. The 3-month subscription that’s available at a discounted price on Walyou Deals may not seem like much, but the high-quality contents will certainly get you hooked, and you’ll come back to Loot Crate begging for more before you know it.

One of the best aspects of the Loot Crate subscription boxes is that no two consecutive ones will ever have the same theme. If this month is all about fantasy, the next one might be about gaming or villains, but you’ll never know too much in advance, as the powers that be enjoy guarding these secrets. However, you should probably know that as part of this subscription, you’ll get a Galaxy-themed crate in December, which includes Star Wars and Halo products. Loot Crate even mentions an exclusive Funko Pop vinyl figure, but you won’t know which franchise it belongs to, nor the exact character that’s been immortalized in this geeky manner.

Each crate now contains a t-shirt, and while it will respect the monthly theme, you’ll have no idea what they’re about until you open the box. In order to avoid any unpleasant reactions, you’ll have to mention your size when ordering the subscription. Bear in mind that the t-shirts and all of the other items in this post are from October and November, so they won’t be included in any of the upcoming crates.

Besides t-shirts, each Loot Crate includes other 5 to 7 epic items that are tightly connected to the monthly theme. The excitement you’ll feel when unboxing new items each month is different than what you’d feel when knowing exactly what to expect. The mystery is one of the main things Loot Crate has such a huge following. Basically, the only thing that you can be certain about (besides the fact that there’s a t-shirt in the crate each and every time), is that there are only high-quality products.

The 3-month subscription to Loot Crate can be purchased on Walyou Deals for $49 (originally $58), but you’ll have to be quick, as the offer expires in 12 hours. Unfortunately, the Loot Crate can only be shipped for free in continental US, so if you happen to live in another country, you won’t be able to enjoy these unless you get help from a third-party.

This is one of the coolest action flicks from its era and it was the first time I saw Norman Reedus. I watched it not too long ago and all my wife could say about it was “That’s Daryl!”
