Pocketstrike Blaster Lets You Conceal and Carry Your NERF

Most people prefer their NERF gun wars to be out in the open, but if you prefer some stealth and the element of surprise, check out the new NERF N-Strike Elite Pocketstrike Blaster. Now you can be a scruffy looking NERF-herder and no one will know.

This pocket NERF gun is roughly the size of a smartphone, and will sell for about $8. Think of it as the equivalent of one of those lady pistols that you hide just about anywhere. It comes equipped with two darts.

The Pocketstrike should hit shelves this fall. That’s when you can annoy people with surprise attacks in the office or at home. No one will ever suspect you are packing a NERF gun, until you strike.

Blade Runner Blaster Pro Replica Blasts Wallets

Harrison Ford has been involved with some iconic movies over the years. One of his best known roles was in Blade Runner. If you have seen that film, you might recall the blaster he uses to hunt down the rogue Replicants.

The Tomenosuke Blaster Pro replica is 100% accurate down to each part of the gun from the film. It looks almost identical to the one we talked about in the past that Adam Savage from Mythbusters made.

Sadly, the completed gun costs about $900 – assuming you can even find one. At the moment, it looks like the Hollywood Collectibles Group still has some available.

If $900 for the completed weapon is too much to spend, you can get a cheaper $570 version. That version comes in pieces as a model kit. I think it would be fun to build the model version and the extra loot could be spent on action figures.

Han Solo’s DL-44 Blaster for Sale: Your Chance to Shoot First

Now is your chance to own Han Solo’s actual DL-44 blaster from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. This classic weapon is currently up for auction on invaluable.com with a starting bid of $200,000(USD). Sadly, it is a non-firing blaster. You’ll have to provide your own special effects.

This blaster was used in the majority of scenes that feature Han, unlike the heavier version that was used for close-up shots. You would have seen this weapon in scenes like when Darth Vader uses the Force to whip the blaster out of Han’s hand in Empire, and in Jedi when Han wrestles with a Stormtrooper to regain his blaster on Endor.

There are no bids yet, so be like Han and bid first.  It is an awesome weapon from a more uncivilized age. Even beat up, this blaster design is amazing looking and an awesome piece of movie-making history.

Adam Savage Builds Han Solo’s Blaster

Here, Adam Savage builds one of the best known guns in the universe. Han Solo’s Baster. I mean Blaster. Although, come Thanksgiving, Han is pretty handy with a baster too. He’s an awesome cook, with a fear of getting too close to the freezer.

Adam has already made a Blade Runner pistol and an Indiana Jones revolver, so I’m pretty confident he can do it. Hell, is there anything this guy can’t do? Spoiler alert! He fires first and kicks this project’s ass!

This is a serious replica too, with some super nice detail, courtesy of the guys over at The RPF, who did much of the of detective work to figure out the parts needed. Now we just need to figure out how to get it to fire blaster bolts.
