The Work of David Lynch in Edible Form by Miss Insomnia Tulip

Blue Velvet Cake Pops

The work of David Lynch in film is unparalleled, to say the least. But when it comes to the cake pop artistry sphere, there are few who can challenge Miss Insomnia Tulip’s skill and talent.

You might have heard about Miss Insomnia Tulip before when her anatomical macarons and Women in Horror cake pop series went viral. She’s back again with another deliciously artistic creation, this time featuring the work of David Lynch. Hit the break for more–including the cake pop for Twin Peaks, which happens to be my favorite from her series.

Horror Cake Pops are Too Scary to Eat

I couldn’t sleep for days after watching Carrie. I cringed every time I saw someone with a video camera after I watched The Blair Witch Project. And don’t even get me started on The Exorcist.

Some people say that you’ve got to immerse yourself in the things you fear the most so that you’ll get over them. And what better way to get over these horror flicks than by chomping on the women featured in them? That probably sounds a little wrong, but you’ll get it once you see this series of cake pops that Miss Insomnia Tulip whipped up recently.

Horror Cake Pops Carrie

Each horrifyingly detailed pop features the leading ladies of all three movies I mentioned earlier, plus Misery (which I have yet to watch.) They’re made and painted wonderfully, but I’m not sure I can stomach these cake pops, much less bite their heads off in the process of eating them.
