The External Green House

The Garden Pod has one big thing working in its favor – it utilizes the external walls of a dwelling rather than clamoring for space indoors. This modular green house is designed so that it can be fitted onto exteriors of a building and can take advantage of the natural energy sources. A handy app allows you to control the setting of the pod and also relays essential information such as which vegetable is ripe enough and how much compost is available.

The Garden Pod transforms organic garbage into compost and even calculates the percentage of nutrients each plant needs. The Pod is capable of growing nano bionic sprouts that develop into fresh vegetables in a short span of 24 hours. The over-ripe vegetables get turned into compost automatically. Interestingly, this concept is one of the short-listed Top 35 entries of the 2014 Electrolux Design Lab competition.

Green House will launch a new LCD monitor for the mass market, the GH-LCW19A. This new 18.5-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1366 x 768 WXGA resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 160/170 degree viewing angles, and consumes just 25W of power during normal operation. It also comes with two built-in 1W stereo speakers and has DVI-D and D-Sub connectors. Green House is preparing to launch their newest tabletop oscillating fan, the GH-FANSWA. Powered by either USB or 3x AA batteries, the fan has an auto swing function (by turning the knob at the top), an adjustable neck (adjust the wind direction by manually raising or lowering the neck of the fan) and an adjustable air volume (in three phases of adjustment 1-3). Green House has unveiled another one of its upcoming LCD monitor, the GH-LCS17A. This 17-inch LED-backlight monitor (low power consumption of up to 20W) provides 1280 x 1024 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 160/170 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 1W stereo speakers and has D-Sub connector. Green House has also unveiled their newest line of SSDs, the GH-SSD32B. Coming in 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB sizes, these 2.5-inch SSDs are equipped with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a PHISON PS3108-S8 controller and capable of delivering read/write speeds of up to 520/100 MB/s (60GB), 520/210 MB/s (120GB), 520/420 MB/s (240GB) and 520/410 (480GB), respectively.
