The world still hasn’t gotten over the awesomeness of Frozen, but could it have been even better? Maybe not not better, but certainly different, if a filmmaker such as Tim Burton, with a unique and very different style to this specific Disney flick, would have gotten his hands on it.

Who knew two sweet princesses could make a catchy tune and playing with ice into such a creepy, nightmare-inspiring moment?

A very charming prince with 12 older brothers, but behind the quite handsome and pleasant mask, there’s a devilish villain no one expected.

A talking snowman? Rock-Trolls? A moose that seems to have a bromance with a human being? That’s weird, but the Tim-Burton style makes it even weirder.

There’s nothing about sloths in the books of A Song of Ice and Fire, or at least nothing memorable. That is what makes this wonderful series of artworks, portraying Game of Thrones characters as these lazy animals, into such a cool thing.

Not a king, and not actually involved in the war of the five kings, but got his head chopped off nonetheless.

6 Disney Princesses as Bad-Ass Warriors

While Disney Princesses, especially the more “classic” ones aren’t always the most aggressive types, there’s nothing wrong with making them go through a makeover and come out as kick-ass Warrior chicks.

Ariel

That neck thing looks really uncomfortable, but overall she looks pretty much like someone Namor or Aquaman would get along pretty well with.

Belle

Very medieval style. Kind of reminds me of Syrio Forel and what a water dancer from Braavos would look like, if girls were water dancers as well (are they?). Maybe Arya will turn into something like this one day.

Cinderella

CInderella gets the cyborg treatment or as the artist referred to her: an android housekeeper. That cannon for an arm makes her look like Megatron, the one from the G1 TV series and not the Live-Action Transformer films.

Pochahontas

Unlike the others, she’s not all that different in look from the non-warrior version of her. She doesn’t have a sword, but she does have blood on the orb at the end of her stick.

Sleeping Beauty (Aurora)

All I have to say is that she has one truly bad ass staff, but I’m not really sure who or what she reminds me of.

Snow White

Over the last two-three years there have been plenty of more combative versions of Snow White coming out: The “Twilight” one, the Terrible one and the one on TV.

According to Salvador (who spoke to Buzzfeed about his work), the genesis of his SuperEmoFriends project reveals so much about fan culture and our emotional investments in fictional characters… They get to add to the painting with their own knowledge of the character and that mental participation makes it fun.

An interesting partnership between Oh My Disney and Austin’s Mondo Gallery created an art exhibit Nothing’s Impossible that pays tribute to Disney and Pixar films.

How? Giving the classic and memorable posters a new look, with Tom Whalen, Martin Ansin, Ken Taylor and others each stamping the project with their own style.
