Buffalo is pleased to introduce their latest wireless mouse, the BSMLW500M. As part of the Premium Fit series, this silent mouse makes use of 2.4GHz radio frequency (works up to 10 meters) and features a 5-button design, a laser sensor and a 1000/1600dpi resolution (switchable).

Powered by 1x AA battery, the BSMLW500M comes with a tiny USB Type-A receiver and supports for Windows 10, 8.1, 7 and Mac OS X 10.6 or later operating systems. Buffalo To Launch RUF3-KV USB 3.1 Flash Drives

Buffalo is about to lunch a new line of USB 3.1 flash drives, the RUF3-KV. Available in three different storage capacities: 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, these capless flash drives feature a new NAND Flash controller and a push slide-out USB 3.1 Gen.1 connector (w/ auto-return mechanism), and promise to provide high-speed transfer of about 400MB/s.

Furthermore, the RUF3-KV USB flash drives come with a virus checker function and password authentication function, and attached software including TurboPC EX, DiskFormatter 2 and Trend Micro USB Security 2.1.

The Buffalo RUF3-KV USB 3.1 flash drives will start shipping from early March for around $42 (8GB model), $54 (16GB model) and $66 (32GB model), respectively. [Product Page]

Buffalo has announced a new line of USB 3.0 portable hard drives, the HD-PNQU3/V. Coming in two different storage capacities: 500GB and 1TB, these travel-friendly portable hard drives feature a shock-resistant body (w/ shock absorbing frame & 8 pieces (2×4 corners) shock absorbing rubber guard) and a USB 3.0 connection interface, and are compatible with the copyright protection standard ‘SeeQVault’.

In addition, the HD-PNQU3/V portable hard drives also come with ‘View QVault playback’ software for Windows ‘DiXiM SeeQVault Play’ and ‘DISK FORMATTER 2’ software – the drive can be easily formatted. Buffalo has announced a new line of USB 3.1 (Gen2) portable SSDs, the SSD-PUSU3. Coming in three different storage capacities: 240GB, 480GB and 960GB, these compact portable SSDs (Black & Silver color options) are built with a durable anodized aluminum casing and a micro-USB 3.1 (Gen2) connection interface (A to micro B cable & C to micro B cable included).

Performance-wise, the SSD-PUSU3 portable SSDs can deliver a maximum read/write speeds of up to 500MB/s and 480MB/s. In addition, you can download for free the Secure Lock Mobile2 software for security.

Buffalo is set to launch their latest dual-band WiFi router namely the WSR-2533DHP. Utilizing the beamforming technology for improving your WiFi reception and reducing interference (the router determines where your device is located and projects a stronger signal in that specific direction), this new 802.11ac home router is built with 1x Internet LAN port, 4x LAN ports and a WPS button, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 800Mbps and 5GHz – 1733Mbps).

Furthermore, the WSR-2533DHP provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA/WPA2 mixed PSK (TKIP/AES mixed) and WEP (128/64bit). Buffalo has introduced a new line of dual interface portable hard drives namely the HD-PATU3-C. Coming in two different storage capacities: 1TB and 2TB, these travel-friendly portable hard drives feature a durable aluminum enclosure, a USB 3.1 (Gen1) connection interface, a Thunderbolt connection interface and HFS + (Mac OS Extended format) format.

Measuring W81mm x D130mm x H23mm and weighing 260 grams, the HD-PATU3-C portable hard drives are also compatible with backup software ‘Time Machine’, which is a standard feature in Mac OS X (or later 10.5).

Buffalo is set to launch their newest portable Blu-ray drive, the BRXL-PT6U3-C. Measuring 14.4mm thick and weighing 293 grams, this slim and lightweight Blu-ray drive is equipped with a USB 3.0 connection interface (USB Type-C conversion cable included), BDXL support and M-DISC support.

Supporting Windows 10, 8.1, 7 and Mac OS X 10.9 or later operating systems, the BRXL-PT6U3-C can deliver write speeds of up to 6x for BD-R (SL/DL).

In addition, the BRXL-PT6U3-C comes with a number of software from CyberLink including PowerDVD 12 – 4K video playback software, PowerDirector 10 – video editing and authoring software and PowerBackup 2.5 – backup software.
