Buffalo To Launch RUF3-KV USB 3.1 Flash Drives

Buffalo is about to lunch a new line of USB 3.1 flash drives, the RUF3-KV. Available in three different storage capacities: 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, these capless flash drives feature a new NAND Flash controller and a push slide-out USB 3.1 Gen.1 connector (w/ auto-return mechanism), and promise to provide high-speed transfer of about 400MB/s.

Furthermore, the RUF3-KV USB flash drives come with a virus checker function and password authentication function, and attached software including TurboPC EX, DiskFormatter 2 and Trend Micro USB Security 2.1.

The Buffalo RUF3-KV USB 3.1 flash drives will start shipping from early March for around $42 (8GB model), $54 (16GB model) and $66 (32GB model), respectively. [Product Page]

Coming in two different storage capacities: 500GB and 1TB, these travel-friendly portable hard drives feature a shock-resistant body (w/ shock absorbing frame & 8 pieces (2×4 corners) shock absorbing rubber guard) and a USB 3.0 connection interface, and are compatible with the copyright protection standard ‘SeeQVault’.

Buffalo is set to launch their newest portable Blu-ray drive, the BRXL-PT6U3-C. Measuring 14.4mm thick and weighing 293 grams, this slim and lightweight Blu-ray drive is equipped with a USB 3.0 connection interface (USB Type-C conversion cable included), BDXL support and M-DISC support.

Supporting Windows 10, 8.1, 7 and Mac OS X 10.9 or later operating systems, the BRXL-PT6U3-C can deliver write speeds of up to 6x for BD-R (SL/DL).
