An unnaturally natural phone!

echo_phone_1

The modern day phone isn’t ergonomic. No person in their right mind would make a device with a 6 inch long touch-screen when the human thumb isn’t more than 3 inches. Phones shapes are primarily decided by battery and screen shapes (which are mostly rectangular). Echo believes phones shouldn’t be brick-ish, but rather should have organic shapes so as to ensure ease-of-use. The Echo mobile phone concept follows the footsteps of Faisal Semari‘s aesthetic with its pebble shape that’s not just easy to hold, but also fits well over the ear. An additional attachment even allows it to become a earpiece that one simply wears and converses into. Totally rad, right?!

Do-It-All Drone

drone_01

While it might look more similar to a fictional Batman-gadget, the Fs-Q5 Drone was designed for real world applications! From movie-making to surveying, this quadrocopter is outfitted with multiple extras like a 360 high definition camera, geographic meters, GPS, smartphone operation and innovative retractable legs. While its spread out form may not be the most conducive to operating in high wind situations, it does go a long way in stealthiness for covert and discrete operation.

The One-in-a-million phone

cartier_phone_1

You’ve got fancy phones like the ones Vertu makes, and then you’ve got these kinds. The ones that look nothing like a phone, but like a smooth sculpted piece of art. Designed as a device with an organic profile (quite a first for smartphones) and a clam-shell schematic (another first for smartphones) this piece of gadgetry, titled Cartier Millenaire, sure lives up to its name by being a one-in-a-million kind of phone!

Moto Magic!

moto_concept_1

I guarantee you’ve never seen a mobile phone concept this organic and sleek. The conceptual Moto phone sure has a lot of technological boundaries to overcome, but regardless of that, it tries to set a new standard for smartphone design. In a beautiful bronze outer casing, the Moto phone looks like a pebble until the screen comes alive through the outer shell. Shaped like a ear, the phone makes the connection as a device with telephonic capabilities.

Move Over iPhone 6, We Have Apple iPhone Plus

The story so far is that Apple has always conformed to a set style for the iPhone. Little deviation from the blueprint, for example display size, thickness, curves etc. has been noted. So how about an iPhone that is radically different in design, something like this Apple iPhone Plus concept!
