Feeling Blue? Get This Fallout Nuka-Cola Quantum Mood Light

News about Fallout 76 is everywhere right now. So I have the wasteland on my mind and my mind on the wasteland. That means it is a good time to buy some Fallout merch, and I have a thirst for a yummy bottle of Nuka Cola. Specifically, this neat Nuka-Cola Quantum mood light. Bonus: I didn’t have to find it in some dirty old locker in the desert.

Nuka Cola is known for it’s combination of seventeen different fruit flavors, and now the Nuka-Cola Company has added an eighteenth fruit flavor (pomegranate) and mildly radioactive strontium isotope which gives it that bright blue glow. Refreshing!  Though instead of being powered by radioactivity, the light-up version runs on three LR44 button cell batteries which are included, or  via USB with the included cable.

You can pre-order this lamp for yourself over at ThinkGeek for just $29.99, and it’s expected to ship in November timed to coincide with the release of Fallout 76. Whether you are with the Brotherhood, a super mutant, or just a traveler of the wasteland, we all love Nuka Cola. So get yours while you can.

Nuka Cola Mini Fridge Keeps Soda Cool in Your Office Wasteland

In a way, your cubicle or office is sort of like your own Fallout settlement. The biggest difference is that supermutants won’t come eat your coworkers, and there aren’t idiot NPCs banging on random stuff with hammers around the office. At least not at my office. You can have your own Nuka Cola machine though, and unlike the game’s machines, this one actually works.

It looks like a tiny version of the machines seen around the wasteland, and inside it can hold up to 12 cans of your favorite soft drink. If you have a lax office environment, you could even keep beer inside.

The fridge measures 22″ x 9″ x 10.5″ on the outside and has a 60″ long cord. It can’t go flat against a wall, as it needs some space for air circulation. You can order one with your Christmas loot from ThinkGeek for $149.99(USD).

Nuka-Cola Soda Bottles Glow in the Dark

Fans of the Fallout series will immediately recognize these bottles of Nuka-Cola’s glowing sodas, including Victory, Fusion Cola, Quantum and Quartz. In Fallout 3, the drinks have a variety of effects on your health and abilities, while these ones just glow.

Made by Etsy seller M.E.M. Props, each of these bottles is loaded with a phosphorescent fluid which charges up when placed in the light for 20 to 30 minutes. Sadly, you can’t drink the liquid inside, but that would be cool if the guys at Coke or Pepsi would come up with a glow-in-the-dark soda.

You can grab a bottle of glowing soda for $35(USD), or a set of four for $120 over on M.E.M. Props’ Etsy shop. If you want to take a shot at making your own light-up Nuka-Cola Quantum, there’s a DIY version on Instructables, but it uses an LED for illumination – which is cheating if you ask me. On the other hand, you can actually drink the Instructables recipe. On the flip side, you can’t get rot your teeth with or get addicted to the glowing version.
