iWash For Germ-free Hands

The unique thing about the iWash faucet is that it gives a visual representation of the bacteria and other germs present on our hands, which diminish as we lather and get them clean. No doubt, the best was to keep infections in check is by washing our hands as often as possible. Building on this theory, the iWash is a pretty neat innovation that nudges us in the right direction. Basically it lays importance on creating awareness and practicing self-sanitization.

Bring Home Sunshine During Rains

Why suffer through poor air quality and hot humid weather (or extreme cold), when you can simulate your favorite climate using the Air Globe. The collects the real-time temperature, humidity, smells and sound of your desired destination and recreates it in the machine before releasing it into your home environment. What this means is that the refreshing air of The Alps or the balmy breeze of Hawaii with the sound of waves, is only a setting away.

Air Globe is a 2014 Electrolux Design Lab Competition entry.

The City Bike

The City Scooter is an urban bike rental project that allows you to get to Point A to Point B, using the shared bike system. The selling point for this system is the way you use the scooter. You can either use it for free by pedaling to your destination or pay for the stored power, and use the electric motor. The bike has a light body and offers high stability in low speed.
