VAIO Corporation has decided to enter the Android smartphone market by announcing the VAIO Phone (VA-10J). Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, this 4G LTE-enabled smartphone comes with a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS OGS display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, an Adreno 306 GPU, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage.

This mid-range smartphone also sports a 5MP front-facing camera, a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording, an FM radio and a built-in 2500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the VAIO Phone (VA-10J) provides 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Measuring 7.95mm thick and weighing 130 grams, the VAIO Phone (VA-10J) will be available from March 20th via Japanese carrier b-mobile for 51,000 Yen (about $420) without contract. [Product Page]
