Borg Yoda Tattoo: Futile, Resistance Is

Yes, the Borg is a hive mind entity. But even so, there must be some mastermind behind the hive mind. Who could have orchestrated the attack at Wolf 359? Who is powerful enough to lead the Borg? It can only be one being. Jedi Master Yoda.

Futile, Resistance is. This Star Wars/Star Trek tattoo mashup was inked by Tara Quinn from Texas. Strangely, Yoda doesn’t look all that happy about being part of the collective. They must have caught him by surprise and used his powers to coordinate the entire Borg collective and make them smarter.

Judge me by my tatt do you? I knew that the Borg must have had help.

Singleness is Futile with this Borg Cube Wedding Cake

If you absolutely have to join the collective of two and get married, you might as well go all out and have a wedding cake that features a starship battle over top of that fondant. Remind yourself that Wolf 359 is where the Borg battle took place, and don’t Wolf it down as fast as you can, 359.

This cake comes from Colorado based The Sugarplum Cake Shoppe. You have to admire the level of detail they put into this thing. It’s more a ongoing battle than a cake. And it even lights up.

Phew! Phew! Phew! Wait a minute. What the hell is a Ferengi ship doing on the side of that Borg cube? They wouldn’t last 2 seconds against the Borg. They’re probably using the battle as an excuse to steal some copper wire from the hive mind’s wiring system. The economy sucks for everyone.

You may now assimilate the bride!

Star Trek The Next Generation ComicCon trailer tries to make seasons one and two look exciting video

Undecided about buying the first season (or two) of the remastered Star Trek: The Next Generation? We understand, but perhaps this pair of trailers will change your mind. The increase in quality is obvious to see, with the recomposed special effects and 7.1 DTS HD even offsetting the pain of re-watching episodes like Shades of Gray and Haven. The second set also includes a reunion talk, interesting just to see how much the stars of the show have changed in the intervening two-and-a-half-decades. You can watch both after the break, but if you decide to hold off until season three, we won't tell anyone.

Knitted Borg Hat Will Assimilate Your Head

Although the weather is warmer now, the Borg don’t care. They will still assimilate you and put this knitted Borg hat on your head, making you one of them and keeping your head warm and toasty.

Redditor k80k80k80 recently posted this kinda cute/ kinda creepy, but totally awesome knitted Borg hat. It goes by the designation 2 of 7. When you wear it you will be assimilated and become part of the collective. Resistance is futile. You will say things like “I am Lo-craft-us of Borg.”

It is super cool. I would wear this constantly during the winter months if I had one. Of course I would need to wear an all black outfit to really make it look authentic. I’m kind of surprised we haven’t seen one like this before. Awesome work, k80k80k80. Now how do you pronounce that?
